In 2020 Biden spent 1.6 trillion, Trump 1.1 billion, in third place was Libertarian Jorgensen at a bit less than 3 million. You're not going to win being outspent 2.7 billion to 3 million.

No third party can compete with the resources the moneyed elites give to our two major parties. I call their giving investments. These moneyed elites invest their cash in our two major parties because they get an excellent return for their investment. If their return on their investment, some call it political donations, was worth their investment they wouldn't do it. These are smart businessmen, they know a good investment when they see one and investing in our two major parties is a darn good one for them. It makes our two major parties owe these moneyed folks big time.
