    If that’s the case then I guess the argument that the Dems don’t want a wall and want open borders because they want to increase their voting block is bogus. Based on your claim it seems the Repubs would benefit more from no wall. Huh…go figure.
    Anyway, it’s about time Biden got with the program regarding the wall.

    The decision to now build a wall is the result of one person's actions. Greg Abbot sending illegals to blue cities.

    NOW do you understand that Biden is NOT a leftist?

    We haven't had a leftists President since LBJ. The Democratic Party has shifted to the right. Not as far to the right as the Republican Party, but to the right nonetheless. Hopefully soon we'll have a real progressive in power.

    And it will be as useless under Biden as it would have been under Trump for keeping out anything but poor people. About the only difference will be, Biden probably won't put his name on it like Trump would have.

    Yeah I'm skeptical that anything will actually get done, but I suspect this decision to say they're going to build a wall is based on internal polling on the border crisis, and it IS a crisis.

    It has nothing to do with the right or left. It is because blue cities are suffering from too many illegals just like the border states.

    Dude it is a political stunt nothing else and some one can be a long way to the right of you and still be a leftist. Interesting that you think LBJ who sent 650k troops to Vietnam and pretty much stone walled integration was a leftist, but Nixon who actually integrated schools and pulled Troops out of Vietnam every Year he was in office was a conservative.

    Mayorkas recently said the border was secure. Biden said he would not build one foot of wall. Something made them act to say a wall is needed. We'll never get a true answer from either of them so we can only speculate. But I would bet the answer has to do with either money or power.
