Biden was elected to the Senate in 1972, so he's been in politics for 52 years and he's never had a real job.
Nancy Pelosi was elected to Congress in 1987, so she's been in politics for 37 years and she's never had a real job.
Dianne Feinstein was elected to Congress in 1992, so until her death in 2023 she'd been in politics for 31 years and she's never had a real job.
There's a definite need for term limits, not only in SCOTUS but the house and senate.

When I said a real job I meant the jobs most Americans do where they drag themselves out of bed in the morning so they can make just enough money to pay for rent, food, gas, utilities etc, and hoping the job doesn't disappear overnight, something politicians never have to worry about.
If 'career' politicians had to deal with living in the real world, like the rest of us, perhaps things might change for the better.
