    https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cnn.com/cnn/2021/04/27/politics/biden-irs-enforcement/index.html

The democrap party (you know the ones really running jokes presidency) are looking to squeeze every penny they can out of the taxpayers.
More proof that joke biden and his party (and the republicans are just as bad IMO) has no interest in helping the tax paying citizen. He’d rather let the illegals, who by just entering the U.S. are breaking the law, come into the country and give them free healthcare etc.
Enjoy the declining way of life these people are forcing on you.

The IRS commissioner under trump advised congress that they were not able to audit very complicated tax returns due to funding issues. These returns are common with high net worth individuals and multinational corporations that frequently pay near zero or zero in federal taxes.

Do you feel the very wealthy deserve to be audited less than someone that is middle class because one of our enforcement agencies has been gutted?

How you made the jump from tax compliance and enforcement to illegals is impressive.

As some of you might know, I got laid off on May 7, almost certainly for stating there wasn't any traffic on the roads in Co Cal on Cinco de Mayo when I lived there. So I've been looking for work (there's nothing out there but fast food jobs) and today I looked at the jobs the federal government had. There are tons of IRS jobs and many of them, crap, most of them, start at $108,000.

Get a grip. Don't you think the IRS should enforce existing tax laws?

As stated in original post: why should illegals be rewarded for entering the country illegally, collecting welfare and free healthcare, while the taxpaying citizens are subject to tighter laws??

Just wanted to point out the obvious: politicians, especially Democrats are tightening the screws on the taxpayers ONLY. Not the illegals or the violent prisoners they are releasing.
I keep forgetting that people on this forum worship their politicians so much that they’d defend them no matter what.

Illegals don't get benefits because they obviously can't qualify. If you're referring to refugees, hey, try understanding their situation and having a little humanity.

It's so weird to see "Progressives" cheering on the IRS becoming even more powerful. Our Government was never supposed to be this powerful and the Left wants even more.

As long as there has been government, there have been tax collectors. My guess is that this is to add back people cut under Trump and to modernize.

Keep carrying that Democratic Big Authoritarian Government water.

We pay record taxes. The "rich" pay a lion's share of it.

    .

    Question:

Will Democrats allow Trump's tax cuts for low and middle-class taxpayers to expire in 2025 ?

Thats the way Republicans wrote the law... low and middle-class tax cuts automatically expire 2025.

Making them permanent is not in Biden's current tax plan.

I suspect [as usual] it will be a POX on BOTH their houses !!

Republicans made corporate tax cuts permanent but not the low and middle income tax cuts.

Now the Democrats are only looking to change the tax law regarding corporations, leaving the low and middle income tax cuts to expire in 2025,

Democrats may or may not win the majority in 2024. So if Democrats wanted to make the low and middle income tax cuts permanent, they would do it with the current Biden tax bill.

I suspect... like Republicans, Democrats don't give a damn.

Biden seeks $80 billion to boost IRS enforcement is only bad news for tax cheaters like the fat, lazy, good-for-nothing corporate welfare queens and grifters like Crooked Donnie.
Trump paid little to no federal income taxes over several years as he piled up losses and debt, NYT reports

Of course, Comrade Donnie had no problem paying his federal taxes to the Communist Chinese government.
