Biden Sends Unaccompanied Migrant Children to Former Japanese Internment Camp

Hilarious, almost can't make this stuff up.

For a long time, Progressives especially were trying to remind everyone of what a terrible stain on America's history those internment camps were. Well, Biden has filled one of them up now.

Biden's team probably know they can get away with it because the media is on their side.
Probably are not going to see much fuss about this in the mainstream media, despite the glaring hypocrisy such a thing engenders.

have to wonder how many of these unaccompanied minors will disappear into the slave and sex trades.

Yeah, they'd probably have a much better chance for survival if we just took them thru the border and released them in Mexico.

So where is he supposed to put them ?

He is dealing with the crises, and your now trying to slam him for actually doing what you said he wouldn’t do ?

The Remain in Mexico policy was working and we had the full co-operation with Mexico on it.

In Mexico. Many of the migrants came through Mexico's southern border. Sounds like it's Mexico's problem. And if they are Mexicans it's still Mexico's problem. People need to stop acting like only the US can take care of the poor folks around the world. The US is now $28T and counting in national debt. Who do you think is going to pay for that? Are other countries giving the US money to help take care of the homeless?

WTF are you talking about ?

You guys have been claiming since he was elected that he was “open borders joe”, and when he actually stops them, you slam him for detaining him.

Now your claiming he is giving them amnesty, while in a thread claiming he is bad for using an old internment camp to house them.

JFC, which is it Sybil ?

Where did I say I supported bringing them to the US ?

Me pointing out that he is actually keeping them from crossing the border makes me an open borders guy ?

How is he doing that? Did he keep Trump's "apply for asylum in Mexico" policy in place?

Are you going to answer my question or not? What the hell does your above post have to do with "not letting the cross the border"? What side of the border is the camp on? And where is the OP stating he is "not allowing them asylum......"

Biden will immediately begin working with Congress to modernize our system, with a priority on keeping families together by providing a roadmap to citizenship for nearly 11 million undocumented immigrants; growing our economy and expanding economic opportunity across the country by improving and increasing opportunities for legal immigration; and preserve the longstanding directive of our immigration system to reunite families and enhance our diversity.

Its not my fault you do not know what you voted for..

The only solution that makes any sense is to deny entry to all migrants until/unless they -- on their own, at their own expense -- produce valid, verifiable proof that:
    A. They have tested negative for the COVID-19 virus, its mutant strains, and other lethal, contagious diseases.
    B. They have been individually targeted by a foreign government for persecution and/or death -- and can therefore claim "asylum".

No 'migrant' is (or should be) the responsibility of the American citizen taxpayer! What we really need is a no-bullshit, five year total moratorium on ALL migration into the U. S.

Guest workers with the proper, valid credentials are fine -- but we've already 330,000,000 people here, and we simply don't need millions more needy peasants from all over Mexico, plus, Central and South America pouring in here....

Well you all freaked out when Trump put them in migrant facilities calling them cages so I would think that would sound better to you.

He could keep them in Mexico since he already filled up Trumps migrant facilities (the left called them cages) and wasted 86 million on hotels for them.

Why did we let it get so bad to where 11 million illegals could even get in to begin with?

They voted for this crisis when they picked Joe. Trump was much tougher on this problem.

The Democrats hate ice and don't want them doing anything.

NO. Again your making things up. People got mad when Trump SEPARATED FAMILIES, and then could not reunite them

Good lord man. Your obviously arguing something you know absolutely nothing about

The UNITED STATES, cannot detain people who cross the border to the US IN Mexico. The detention facilities are in the US. The same detention facilities Trump used. We dont let Mexico erect detention facilities in the US ? And US law requires that they be detained.....

Trump did EXACTLY what Joe is doing now because it is UNITED STATES LAW. Trump put some up in hotels also....because us is UNITED STATES LAW. Trump changed laws, which Biden is actually operating under now. So again, how was Trump tougher at the border other than separating families since Biden is enforcing the same laws ?

    He followed the law... /gasp.

What law did Trump changed outside of the Remain in Mexico policy?

Sigh . If a 14 year old leaves his family from El Salvador and comes here alone who separated the family? Our Government or the 14 year old who leaves his family...

FFS unaccompanied has a meaning you know.
