Maher is an idiot and is one of the many pundits that attract viewers based on how shocking his material can be. Copy. Why is everyone so outraged by mainstream media trolls to the point they’re further dividing themselves?

 

Trump attacked a real American hero serviceman and his sick sychophants who didn't know schiest about the military or McCain's service made up stories about MCCain and crapped on MCCain 's find service to our country. Trump a guy ho never served his country for one second, does not serve his country, and never will serve his country crapped on an American hero while he was alive and even after he died.

That was shameful but these were not national figures. Maher has a much broader audience and knows he can get away with stuff like that.

To be fair, McCain was no Sgt York. His father and grandfather were admirals. John was a party animal at the naval academy. He was nine years into his career and still a lieutenant commander with mediocre reviews when he volunteered for combat in Vietnam. Some may remember, combat was called "getting you ticket punched" for officers in Vietnam. It was absolutely necessary in order to advance one's career.

John Mccain was one of about 650 naval fliers shot down over Vietnam. He was tortured, but he got medical care when they found out his father was a US Admiral. He did turn down an early release, but to do otherwise would have ended his career and affected his father's. Anti-war doves could easily have criticized the early release of an admiral's son.

I think McCain would have made a better president than Barak Obama. Obama was not a leader. McCain had far more experience in Congress and he was well-like on both sides of the aisle. Hillary Clinton was a friend. He could have gotten more things done.

The Credit Crunch just before the 2008 election doomed the chances of a Republican win.
