Myself, I actually look at this, shrug and say "so what?".

First off, you have to understand what the F-35 actually is. It is a multi-role fighter, with a limited range, and intended to replace the F-16/F-18/A-10/AV8B series of aircraft.

What it is not is a deep-penetration ground attack bomber. It is primarily designed to be used against other aircraft, or like the A-10 and other aircraft in the inventory, against ground based targets once any serious air defense threats have been eliminated.

This is what "Stealth" is. It does not mean invisible, that is impossible. It means to simply reduce the RADAR cross-section, to make detection and locking on of weapons more difficult. Not impossible.

The only person I know of who truly flies around in an invisible airplane is Wonder Woman.
