But you can't blame it on any Left wing conspiracy, unless, of course, you are willing to stipulate that none of those who work at FOX, or BREITBART, or OANN, or NEWSMAX, or the Washington Times, or Washington Examiner, or at any other of the Right wing news/opinion/propaganda sites, from which many of you here, get your information, knows how to read-- because none of those, apparently, made anything of this, either. The writer seems to have a Right wing bias, just going by his NY Post quotes:

I'm not sure why Obama decided to sit with this author. He had won a Pulitzer, I think the article said-- but it seems like simple minded credulousness, to determine that Obama is just "too lazy," based solely on Barack's saying that he is. There are some things that exists, called "modesty," and "humility." The ramifications of these, are that not everyone blows their own horn, over every one of their good qualities, as you-know-who (Mr. T) overblows, his. Considering how hard Obama must have worked to become a Constitutional lawyer, to become a U.S. Senator, to become President of the United States, and then to serve in that role for eight years, one would have to be soft headed to not take Obama's calling himself "lazy," with a huge dose of salt. If he is lazy, it is only in relation his own exceedingly high expectations, of himself. But by almost anyone else's gauge, it should be blatantly obvious, that Obama is not a "lazy" person. He did not have things just handed to him, as did you-know-who.

We should also mention that this author's time with Obama was considerably less than what any true "biographer," typically would spend with his subject: 8 hours, spread over 3 days' time. So, much of what was written, as about Obama's feelings about the Democratic Party, was clearly a result of this author's own beliefs. Also, it should be noted, that a lot has happened in the past six years, so that it would be foolish to assume that none of Obama's 2017 opinions have changed much. Even without going into that this author did not even go to read this letters from Obama to a former girlfriend, himself, but is trusting the recopying of those letters by someone who I'll bet was never an Obama supporter, I'll close out my comments on that first question of yours, by suggesting that perhaps few people actually read the entirety of his over 1400 page book on Obama, because it was not very good.


As to your second major point: had Obama thought about sex with men, that would not make him "gay." It might mean he had leanings in that direction, but he is married, with two children. If he does not hook up with men, on the side (which not even this dubious biography speculates), then it is your own poor relating of truth, to call Obama gay. Note the last paragraph of my quote, which mentions the one thing in the biography that did get some notice, that in the 1980s, while attending Columbia, Obama was a "sex machine." That was with women. For a guy who has lots of sex with women, but who has fantasized about homoerotic sex, to even brand him a bisexual, would be a bit of a stretch. To call this definitive proof that he is gay, is ridiculous.

 

I for one am proud of Barack for not being afraid to live his truth.
