Interracial marriage (children) does eliminate racism. Whites used to be called "Anglo-Saxons." That is ironic as historically Anglos and Saxons hated each other, saw each other as separate people and tended to kill each other on sight. However, they became so blended over generations they became one race. I blame ongoing racism primarily on liberals and Democrats, who for political reasons insist that blacks and Latinos are not part of mainstream society, but rather are two groups of "thems." Even if their ancestors have been within USA territory even since before the USA existed, to most Democrats and liberals Latinos will forever be "Mexicans" anyway. Democratic politics is highly dependent upon incessantly insisting that blacks are a separate and distinct people - so much so that even if a person is overwhelmingly a major of non-black in ancestry, most liberals and even federal law insists that they are still black. Obama is ALWAYS referred to as our "black" President, yet is 100% as accurate to call him our "white" president, nor is there ANY slavery heritage in his ancestry.

I'm a huge fan of Trevor Noah, a South African born political satirist, his mother is Xhosa and his dad Swiss/German, it's the funniest thing on earth to listen to him explain his dilemma when completing forms asking whether you are black or white. I think those things should be left off forms completely, what does it matter what race you are, why do they want to know in the first place and what about people who are the offspring from interracial marriages.
