If nativity scenes were made with a black Mary, Joseph, and Jesus no one would bother to complain about them. Order the removal of a black-themed nativity scene and you be racist. It would be an interesting experiment.
It is interesting that much of bible was translated from Greek to other languages. If baby Jesus was black we would expect to have ancient biblical manuscripts written in Swahili, not Greek. Most Africans have only known about Jesus for a few hundred years, which is strange since Jesus is black. Whatever.

Jesus is a mythical figure, spread by word of mouth, he could be anything one desires him to be.....

had he actually of really been born and it really that important, we would know his real birthday.....

Ezekiel, Abraham, Mohammed, the Abrahamic God, the Ark of the Covenant, etc. must not be real either. For example, where is the Ark of the Covenant. Can't be found.

    1. The bible says were were created in His image.
    2. Science shows us that humankind came from Africa - the first people came from Africa.
    3. So therefore god is a black guy.

Not sure about his son, but at least it's obvious (if one believes in the Bible) that god is a black dude. Or is the bible wrong when it says we were created in his image?

Was it the talking donkey, or the dragons, or the magic people flying around with wings ("angels"), or the unicorns (all in the Bible) that gave it away?

Jesus was not black, he was a Jew. Look at an Israeli, that's what Jesus looked like.

Personally I see Jesus as a swarthy middle eastern looking man. But he could have been black. I think him looking like a Sweden looking fellow is a stretch. But ultimately it doesn't matter. A black baby in the nativity set doesn't bother me. It's the unhealthy focus on skin color and its importance above the truth of Jesus that bothers me. Jesus was color blind. Skin color was not his fixation and he should be our role model.

If Jesus had been the white guy we see in western churches, or a black man then Judas would not have needed to kiss him for the soldiers to know who he was...Judas could have just told them to look for the guy who looked different than everyone else.

This seems to match your claim.

    http://www.stewartsynopsis.com/africans_wrote_the_bible.htm

It ignores the fact that the source of the Bible stories is ancient myths from Sumer, Egypt and Ugarit. There is zero evidence that the Hebrews were black people.

If Eve is the mother of us all, she had to have been blue-eyed, or have the gene for blue eyes, and she would had to mate with a man who carries the blue-eyed gene. A pure bred black woman--as you claim Eve was would not have carried the gene for blue eyes.

We are told blue/green eyes are "mutations". That theory doesn't work, because four people's genes would have had to spontaneously mutate, and those four people would have had to 'find' each other and mate to account for the fact that there are hundreds of millions of blue/green-eyed people. What are the odds that four 'mutants' somewhere in the world would meet and procreate? In order to inherit blue eyes, both parents had to have the gene for blue eyes. If we take the Out of Africa story literally, and if Eve was the mommy of us all, and was black there would not have been any blue-eyed people around because black/brown-eyed people do not carry the gene for blue eyes unless four of their ancestors had the blue-eyed gene. It is impossible for two brown- eyed people to have a blue eyed offspring unless they both have the gene for blue eyes. The only way for them to have gotten that gene is if they both had ancestors with blue eyes. In other words: blue-eyed Suzi's parents both had to have the blue-eyed gene, and if she has blue eyed children, daddy had to have two ancestors that carry the blue-eyed gene. In other words, it takes four people--two on each side-- carrying the blue-eyed gene in order to produce one blue-eyed person.

The original humans from Ethiopia, and northern Africa must have had blue-eyes, and these blue-eyed people must have then migrated to Europe.

So your theory of a black baby Jesus doesn't hold water, especially if Eve had blue-eyes because Jesus' lineage is said to date back to Adam and Eve, and both of them had to have blue eyes.

According to scripture the son of Solomon and Sheba .. Menelik.. went to Ethiopia with the Ark of the Covenant and that where the African Jews came from..

Also about 500 BC there was a Hebrew garrison of mercenaries and a synagogue on Elephantine Island in Egypt.

An Ancient Jewish Community on Elephantine Island, Aswan

    Posted on 15/04/2014 by dianabuja

The following blog has been updated :

One of the most interesting interludes in ancient Egyptian history concerns the Jewish community that inhabited a portion of Elephantine Island, located in southern Egypt adjacent to the town of Aswan, during the 5th and 4th centuries B.C.E.

There has been considerable debate about the community over the last century – but in this and a few other blogs I want to deal with several social and cultural aspects that are of interest.

No, uh, er, god intervened, like he does so many times in the Bible, say, and changed that....or does god not intervene in human affairs (i.e. never answers prayers, etc.?)
