"[Obama is] the first mainstream African American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy."
"they’re worried that they’ll be vaccinated and deported."
    you ain’t black!
“unlike the African American community, with notable exceptions, the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community with incredibly different attitudes about different things.”
To a black reporter, "Are you a junkie?”
“You cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin’ Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent.”
in 1977, he said that forced busing to desegregate schools would cause his children to “grow up in a racial jungle.”
Can you not read? It's not that hard.

    Oh, yes it does!

    Particularly when it’s so flagrant.

I don’t think that Biden is particularly racist. (He did put a black woman on the Supreme Court, after all).

But Trump grew up around that attitude. His father did everything he could to avoid renting to black, and when he did, he pointed them to specific properties that would take “their kind”.

Donald grew up in his father’s shadow, a world full of hustlers, bent labor union agents, bent politicians and wise guys.

He grew up in a world full of real life Archie Bunkers, and his public comments reflect that.

And he understands white resentment and racism very very well. He may not be one,but he has made it the core of his appeal.

He has been doing it for well over a decade. He started by kicking the rabid racist Orley Taiz off the throne of the birther movement. Which about nothing but racism, the resentment of a lot of white people to the idea of a black President.

The he added Mexihate to the brew the day he announced his candidacy in 2015.

Since then, it has been a constant parade of strereotypes, attacks and as lot of race baiting.

Trump himself may not give a damn about racism. But he knows its the best tool he has in order to hold on to his hard core base.

I don't think so. Maybe those that are die hard Liberals. I think he's saying some Blacks can relate what he is going through with the way he is being treated because many have suffered discrimination and persecution most of their life and they can feel for others who have also been persecuted like he has.

So you agree with me and many others, he's not being treated like black people get treated and have been treated in the past.

He was exaggerating. Using a skin color(race) as a means to gain sympathy.

And the thread is about him thinking his situations is relatable to the plights blacks have had in the country as very wrong.
    And it upsets black leaders.
You agree, black leaders should be upset with his pandering?

And you agree, he is treated with extreme caution. IE, not being harassed. Due to the fact he's an ex-president.

That's OK. You see, they paid to sit in the front and put the black people in the back. According to a post in this thread.
It's just being part of USA.

The only president in history to never take responsibility for anything and blame every one else when something has gone wrong was impeached 2X and lost as the incumbent.

But trump is being treated with kids gloves.

They can't relate to him. He wasn't stopped for driving a car that is too nice looking.
He might want them to related to him, but he's just using race to try and get people feeling sorry for him.

    You're a little late.
Someone gave a bunch of quotes.
But didn't explain which ones need an apology for or why?

Maybe you can explain which ones and why?

Although, this is a deflection from the topic of the OP. Which means, whataboutism as a debate tactic. Kind of a failure.

So if black people rate a quote as a 10 on the racist scale, you don't' think that deserves an apology? When it's from a presidential candidate, you don't think it deserves to be newsworthy?

Those “Black leaders” are a bunch of woke progressive Democrats who would vote for Hitler if he ran against Trump. I saw the speech. It was a joke. The “opinions” of “Black leaders” with rabbit ears who want to be offended don’t matter.

Don't think you can say kid gloves. They have charged and sued him for millions and put so many charges against him he could spend the rest of his life in jail. The only thing he hasn't been charged with is jaywalking.

I have difficulty believing someone thinks something is "racist" if they put the word in quotes.

And just like that, he declared he is a believer of the BLM claims of "systematic racism", and the only reason he says it, is because he wants to portray himself as a victim, - just like blacks who also (according to him & BLM) suffer from a legal system which conspires against them.
