Blagojevich Freed After Trial Of Allegedly Selling Senate Seat To African American!

This was the appropriate outcome, his intentions were good since he wanted to see more African Americans in the senate. They are under represented in the lawmaking process.

The jury could not return a unamimous vote to convict Mr. Blagojevich on felony charges that would have sent him to prison for many years. The well respected Democrat said they could not prove he did anything wrong.

The only charge that was proven was lying to federal agents which is a very minor charge and the prominent politician plans to appeal.

Skin color offers nothing to the Senate. We arent painting a mural, we dont need XX amount of Black, White or Yellow to be represented.

He was selling a seat...and to claim it is more or less of a crime depending on what color he was selling to, is foolish.

Gov. Blagojevich is well respected....by LiberalMinority. That might be the extent of his respect. Most people are torn between crook or clown.

LiberalMinority was correct, amazingly, when he pointed out that 11 to 1 for conviction is not a unanimous decision.

And I can understand bigots who think skin color is the only qualification needed to sit in Congress. I don't agree with them but I can understand them.

 

The man who took President Obama's seat is very qualified.

Also the majority of caucasian politicians through out history and today to an extent are still elected on the basis of skin color.

This is only fair to politicians with under represented skin colors.

 

It wasn't proven that he sold the seat in a court of law, also if it were it would still be less of a crime with the morality behind it.

All criminal punishments are subjective to the intentions behind them.

 

Thank goodness for that one juror who happened not to see what everyone else was seeing.

 

The American Justice System has worked and prevented an innocent man from going to prison.

 

The only reason this guy was not found guilty on all but one charge, is because Obama, his thugs and the rest of the chicago machine helped him.

Obama didn't want to go down, so he had to promise something to Blago. The defense knew this, and that is why they never put Balgo on the stand when after months and months he said he would take the stand.

Foreigners were aware of US justice many years ago. You just seem to be catching up.

Pass it over to Nancy Grace and Jane Velez Doodah. They will convict the right side of his body and acquit the left, depending on the weather, if the air conditioning in the studio is adequate and if their employer was lax in stocking the fridge that morning.
