http://www.theblaze.com/stories/201...s-currently-brewing-in-recapture-canyon-utah/ Once again the people are upset with the actions of the BLM. Now in Nevada I was firmly against the actions of the BLM. Not in support of Bundy as the left likes to insinuate but against the overreach of the BLM. In this case I side with the BLM. Just judging by this article I think they are right for closing these public lands to ATV,s. I see the destruction these atvs can do on a daily basis. I'm not against ownership and am currently considering buying one myself but there's no reason to hide from the fact they do damage. It's nice to see a story like this and realize the progs lie when they say their political opponents always see things just one way. It would be even nicer if the left could do it once in awhile.
well that can be true. I live right on two entrances into a large state forest and they are illegal but no one stops them, including me. Almost an impossible challenge by itself if one were so inclined. I see the damage they do to the trail systems but I see no major harm from it here. There are no known sacred grounds or relic this that and the other thing. So the earth gets chewed up and rutted, no big deal really. Now Utah is a little different in my opinion. They have areas that should be preserved and from my experience with atv'ers eventually someone will run it all over. Add to the fact I've always felt the native Americans got such a raw deal in this country we should pay them a little respect now.
