Seriously? lol. I know it "can" look sickly...if the person is albino or sick.
    ...think Chris Hemsworth, Brad Pitt

No, Miss Özbek! You are wrong! How are any of these broads "sickly looking"? Epithome of beauty imo.

Some do. Some are horrible. It just depends. With the gingers, the quality of their hair matters a great deal. Some redheads have a mess growing out their brains that even Miss Clairol can't save.

As for the original question, my guess is part of it is that many people start off life as a blonde but are a brunette by the time they reach adulthood so blonde is more associated with youth and vigor. Just a hunch as to why this trend happens.

I think women are far more concerned about their hair color then men.

I don't take such things as hair color into consideration if I like a person. That is just really shallow and silly and immature.

Certainly agree, but I suppose we all have some kind of preference be it hair colour, eye colour or clothing style. :)

I don't. I don't care at all if a guy has brown hair or blonde hair. Never has hair color been a deciding factor for me about anything. I can't believe it would be for anyone at all. There are beautiful and ugly people of ALL hair colors.

Well, you are just a kid yourself, so it's normal for you to be attracted to such young looking girls. Aren't you like 18 or something?

Yup. No one said otherwise! I prefer green apples over red ones, but if I have to pick between a rotten, green apple and a juicy, mature red apple, I'd take the latter. ;)

No real need to take this topic so seriously. It's mainly just for fun. :)

    How dare you? :p

    I feel whipped.

It's true though. As you grow up, you will realize how silly hair color fetish (or whatever it is) really is. It has nothing to do with beauty or personality. In fact, most real blondes are quite plain looking without makeup on because they have very light eye lashes and brows and very pale skin. :) The most beautiful blondes (such as Marilyn Monroe) were not really blondes. Lol. True story.

Brunette hair is prettier anyways. It's shinier and luminescent. :D

Well geez, granny...Relax! :) i have no stupid fetishes. I just know that I happen to prefer light features. It's not my fault! Now, obviously, I wouldn't turn down someone with a great personality and a pretty face simply because she is a brunette. That would indeed be very stupid.

I smell jelousy. You want me to call jelly school? Lul. I kid. :p

Some brunettes, if their skin tone and eyes support it, are quite striking as blondes. Otherwise they look kind of silly.

My wife is horrible as a blonde. My daughters on the other hand, both have brown hair but the older is amazing as with Raven Black and the younger is striking as a blonde.

Up to the woman and hopefully she gets good advice from her friends. (Seriously, someone told my wife she looks great as a redhead. NOT!!! I had to leave the house when I saw her so I could laugh uncontrollably for a while.)

You are cute, but way too young for me. You are like the same age as my son.

    I don't have a preference. I'm just noting the facts. :D

More so than having a preference, I'm defending my brunette hair! I don't see that someone would be "prettier than me" because she has blonde hair. :D
