If you know anyone who has purchased health insurance then you know someone covered by Obamacare.

All insurance sold by insurance companies is ACA compliant.

Maybe you meant that you know someone who used the exchange feature to get help purchasing insurance. But, that is the same insurance anyone else buys, including if you call up the insurance company and buy insurance directly from them.

This is significant, because if Obamacare is repealed, ALL insurance policies are affected. You can bet that no insurance company would sell the policies they sell today if it weren't for ACA regulations. And, that's true for employers, too.

The people to blame is built into the name of Obamacare.

While Trumps administration will need to try and clean it up, they didn't create the problem.

Boehner: Republicans won't repeal and replace Obamacare

Boehner was weak. He had no political courage. He's a big part of the reason these current problems problems exist.

Yep, that's it. They just don't care. I've heard they are really mean too and say bad words, too.

    I'm not blaming anyone.

I merely replied to your post.

Mr. Trump did NOT state he would try and clean it up.
He stated that Obama Care would would mainly be scrapped.....but he (Mr. Trump) liked some parts of it.
    Those, he would keep.
He also stated health care would be better for everyone.

You seem hung up on blame.
I take a man on his word, and until Mr. Trump proves otherwise, I would tend to believe him.
I think you should give him a chance to prove himself.
If you didn't think he was up to the job, maybe you should not have voted for him.

Since the republicans control every thing, they have a chance to accomplish great things for the American people, and that includes the Middle Class.
If they do not, then blaming democrats will fall on deaf ears come the mid terms.

He's someone who knows virtually every one of those congressmen and their electoral situation.

I have stated on many occasions that the Republicans should announce that they are going to take their time in repeal and replace. Maybe a year or two to insure the plan they come up with is workable and much better than Obamacare. Then the Republicans should do nothing and let Obamacare die a natural death. Aetna, United, Humana have all pulled out of some or all exchanges or is in the process of doing so. This leaves a lot of people with only one choice in the exchange and in some counties, none.

Obamacare is dying a natural death, let it.

Well, so far, it hasn't been the best of situations.
He has tried to do what he said he would. Maybe not the best planning or it could have been done with moderation.
I am still optimistic about the country.
He needs to mellow out and do whats best for the country.
He is a deal maker, so health care could get better.
I have no reason to doubt otherwise, at this point in time.
I would like to see some sort of plan. It's always prudent to have a plan.

    Boehner is spot on.

All one has to do is think about what the options are. The Republicans always said, there were plenty of other good plans out there. We'll, no there are not. There are only two or three routes, we as a country can take. That's been the reality all along. The route Republicans want to go down is the same one as before. The problem with their private market insurance route, millions would be left out again with no insurance.

Republicans are stuck and they know it. They did it to themselves.

That's just it. After eight years of bellyaching they have no plan. Trump himself has had eight years to think about it and be a "deal maker". After all, he's been criticizing it since the ACA began. After eight years, making a deal for him should be easy right?

If you have a complaint, then cite it.

Posting picture is great for those who can't write a sentence or copy a link, but it certainly doesn't form an argument.

Is it disconcerting that I had a pic from another angle to refute your claim? I love it when a plan comes together.

Where are the dems btw? Another pizza party/sleepover on the floor? Well, at least until they get off work and it's time to go home anyway.

A picture of empty seats is easy to come by and lends support to the point that not every chair has a butt in it - even when the chair looks comfortable and is in a room that looks nice.

Gee it seems like just yesterday the Libby's were calling him the orange guy, boner the cry baby and questioning his mental capacity to be Speaker of the house. Now that he's speaking out against republicans he's the left new BFF :roflol:

Hardly a surprise and clearly obvious!

He's just telling it like it is. That doesn't make him anyone's BFF. And in fact the effort to repeal and replace has gone nowhere, just like the left has said it would all along - the dog that caught the bus and doesn't know what to do with it.

    This isn't anything new.

You just didn't bother to post anything that supports your claim.

That happens all the time on this board.

I tried words, you couldn't understand that.

I reverted to pictures to try and help. Sorry you can't grasp it.

Here it is everyone. I will, perhaps foolishly, speak for every Democrat in Congress.

Work to fix the shortcomings in Obamacare and you will have the support of every Democrat.
Keep going "repeal" and no matter what happens, you will be on your own.

Keep the Medicaid expansion and expand it into every state
Do something to bring down drug prices
Create incentives so younger healthier people will join the exchanges.

There's more I'm sure but if Republicans won't meet in the middle it will all be theirs.

Acknowledging that he knows this caucus well doesn't make him anyone's BFF

    That's just it.
After eight years of bellyaching they have no plan.
That was preceded by eight years of doing nothing.
That was preceded by eight years of blocking Clinton.
That was preceded by twelve years of doing nothing.

    That one is easy.

    1. Change the laws so that ERs are forbidden to treat anyone until they show proof of insurance or make advance payments.
    2. Refuse hospital admissions to anyone who cannot show proof of insurance or make advance payments.
    3. Publicize the new laws extensively.
