Bomber Boys is a spendid documentary by actor Ewen McGregor and his brother, a former RAF fighter/bomber pilot about: WWII, Bomber Command, the controversial Arthur "Bomber" Harris, the legendary Avro Lancaster heavy bomber used by the RAF, the policy of area bombing, the 120,000 men of Bomber Command (50,000 of whom perished in the war), their training, what war was like for them, the destruction of Cologne, Hamburg and Dresden and much more. It is one of the very best WWII docs I've ever seen and it was only produced in 2012 but uses plenty of authentic music and newsreel footage of the time along with present day interviews with some of the few remaining RAF and Luftwaffe pilots. It even features Colin McGregor at the controls of a vintage C-47 AND a flight of Britains ONLY remaining Lancaster in flying condition! It is an hour and a half long but any history buffs, WWII history buffs and aviation buffs will be spellbound by the presentation. I give it a 10/10 score. You're welcome. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JnzNJ-RXIi8&feature=youtube_gdata_player
