Born-again Congresswoman Lauren Boebert tells wives to chase after God and husbands will follow

Lauren Babbitt is a great American! She has become a great role model showing that no matter what we start out as or do, change and growth is possible. She has a great story to tell.

 

Why? She was giving her personal testimony and sharing her personal and family experiences. That’s part of what people who get up and engage in public speaking in a church are known to do. A Christian News publication reported on what she said to the assembled congregation. Now what was it you think was wrong about her saying what she did?

Maybe she should've spent more time making sure he didn't do that, and less time hooking and playing holier than thou.

 

I don't want to say too much in a forum that is not the Religion Forum, but for for once, could one of these people produce empirical evidence supporting their claims. I understand how the idea that an invisible supernatural being who is watching and protecting them allows people to function and provides a group social structure for support and personal improvement. I just want to see some actual evidence of a God being any different than an imaginary friend.

The article mentions things he did that were bad when he was younger and how only her relationship with God kept her from throwing him out. She reconciled with him despite her anger at him and he ultimately converted and turned his life around. The Christian Church is not woke cancel culture and there with God and members forgiveness happens.

 

It seems that he’s no longer a poor choice and turned his life around. He’s the father of their children and a separation now makes no sense at all.

 

Did we really need another Boebert is Christian thread cluttering current events?

But we’re here to focus not on her apparent wish that God kill Joe Biden. Instead, we’re here to focus on a clunky joke Boebert told about Jesus Christ.

Based on that joke, Boebert apparently thinks Jesus should have used modern assault weapons to avoid being crucified by the Romans. No, really.

Not every person who is a criminal or made other mistakes short of that turns their life around. Sadly it’s a minority who do. We should celebrate when it happens. There’s a reason why many Christian denominations operate prison ministries. That Jesus directed it and considered prisoners among the least of these that when we visit and minister to them as well as other people groups he mentioned, we do it for Him. It is a duty of the Christian Church to alleviate human suffering while we do the great commission leading toward the end/2nd coming.

I'm not sure that's why they operate prison ministries, but I am ware that there are for reasons I cannot fathom, a lot of religious people in prison. I'll wager if you or I saw that idiot showing children his richard someone would have broken every bone in his crotch. So, I'm 100% not interested in someone who is "turning their life around" but shows kids' their richard.
