I suspect most people will never see this movie, which is a shame. For those who have not heard of it, the filmmaker filmed over 10 years with the same cast- so you actually watch the 'boy' grow up. It sounds like a gimmick, but it isn't- instead it is a seamless story with no jarring changes in stars or artificially aged characters- it is the story of growing up and it is beautifully done. I don't want to say to much, but I was surprised by this film- and I hope others are surprised and have the chance to see it. I loved this film- best film I have seen this year.
