Not when every post I read from a Canadian is critical of the US.

...... I said these things happen and not much you can do about it ....and now have shown examples of it happening in your country ... I don't give a (*)(*)(*)(*) if you didnt have a mass shooting this year , as that does nothing to prevent one from happening in the future . Obviously you can't prevent these things so I don't care much about your answer because you won't have one .

 

You cannot prevent all of them, but if you get them every month you are not doing enough to prevent at least half of them. The fact that Canada has yet to have one this year and in years past had less than 2 or 3 speaks volumes that Canada is just better at preventing them than your country.

So , do you think a country with almost 10 x the population is going to have more incidents ? We have 300 million + guns .

You could add the populations of Canada, Australia, New Zealand, UK, France, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Spain and add the mass shooting incidents and the US will still have more by a landslide.

 

How to explain... you read the news in Canada, what is your gut instinct tell you about this shooting event? The instant I saw this thing brewing on TV, my first reaction is, it's the Navy, they must be patching up a leaky boat, and they better get a good patsy this time because that whole thing in Boston with the pictures all over the Internet, such a mess, had to fire the secretary of homeland security and everything. But, they'll get it right this time, I have confidence.

It is a scary thought if all the laws and security surrounding where this shooting occurred is not enough. How much of a police state do they think we need to insure our safety. Safety is never sure you can not protect against the extreme

People are crazy. But I'd bet per capita the US has more crazy people than the countries I listed.
Most of it due to no universal healthcare.
