My comment is a rebuttal to the duplicitous clowns who have and will continue to blame inanimate guns instead of the people who most often pull their triggers.

 

surprised they caught him, with all the kids fleeing, he could of easily snuck out without being noticed, glad that did not happen as more would be dead for sure as this guy would not of stopped imo

instead of taking the cheap lazy way out by blaming the gun we need to have a serious discussion what has changed in our society that has these kids become so lost so screwed in the head they either take their own life or take the lives of others
we will never solve this problem if we don't identify the cause and blaming the means helps no one

 

I live a few miles away. It’s my kids future H.S. I’m sure I’ll know the parents or know someone who knows them. Horrible. It’s a wealthy extremely safe city. It can certainly happen anywhere.

 

A few people call for gun control. A few people get mad at that. NRA doesn't say ****. Politicians tweet about thoughts and prayers. We'll forget this next week. It'll happen again the week after.

I'm tired of watching this cycle.

 

Good to see that Broward County law enforcement actually has reason to exist.

Great to see that the Broward County cops finally get a change of pace (from their normal routine of shaking down girls for sex at traffic stops and killing innocent black people).

Great to see the cops actually doing their job (for once).

Remove liberals and PC teachers and professors from our schools and colleges who indoctrinate the younger generation into becoming snowflakes who have no regard to human life.

Violent video games, gangsta rap, violent and PC Hollywood left movies and the early feminizing of boys while growing up.

The MSM gives way to much coverage to these shootings. Less coverage less shootings.

Allow children to play with toy guns and war toys so by the time they become teenagers they lose all infatuation with guns and turn their interest towards girls and contact sports.

I hear ya sir but we can't fix the problem that easy.... The problem is kids growing up too fast, exposed to violence via movies, video games, social media, violence glorified in music, can't criticize any of these social media sites or they start babbling about freedom of speech and get their lawyers.

At what point are there policies in place that a school that bans a kid from the school with a backpack via an administrative email.. Are the police notified? Were they? What happened

you can't, no more then you can keep a religious fanatic from being religious.. both are constitutional rights all Americans have

we see crazy Muslim\Christian fanatics and we can't just make it a crime for them to buy a gun or believe their crazy stuff, you pretty much have to wait for them to commit a crime to act, not sure what else we could do and still be considered a free country if the alternative was thought police

but we can offer better access to mental health services for people as this guy definitely looks like he needed help and was giving all kinds of warning signs

 

Semi auto rifles are pretty cheap for something really basic. You could find a used one for around 350 easy.

 

I would agree that the over exposer of violence in the lives of kids now days has jaded them to it
