That is $52,000 each!!! And the regular politicians will then talk about entitled poor people who are clamoring to get food stamps!!! Where is the outrage!!!???? We spend about a trillion dollars a year on the military so they can lose all those wars in the Middle East!!! And they call themselves fiscal conservatives!!!!

Trash cans? Those are M1907 combat waste receptacles. Certified for disposal of all common household waste under combat conditions, guaranteed not to leak coffee grounds or melon rinds even under heavy bombardment in the most extreme of conditions, from the desert to the arctic.

You wouldn't want our soldiers dealing with leaky trash bags in combat would you, you communist sympathizer you?

Why should they care? They get automatic increases each year and will have no recourse over this.

Until they are audited and their budgets frozen or cut this will continue

You won't see the usual fiscal hawks complain about THIS kind of government waste. Even when everything else is supposed to be cut, the GOP ALWAYS has the back of the military (err, defense). They ALWAYS get their nice budget increase.

If you haven't figured it out by now, 'waste and corruption' is a phrase used by politicians at election time. It has no other meaning nor utility.

    Regards, stay safe 'n well.

As as they continue to have us focus on division, our oligarchs in office, whom make from $200K to $400K, but are multimillionaires, will continue to be brokers of the dollar. We will never fix our budgetary issues until we get lobbyist, and money out of government. Too easy to buy a politician!

This is a not a partisan issue. Both the (R)'s and (D)'s are in bed with the lobbyist.

Isn't it Biden's Pentagon in 2021 and beyond? More to the point, everyone can agree that awful spending is awful.

We are going to need to raise taxes, expand government, and hire 87K IRS agents to keep up with this.

Not Boeing's fault it had to wait three years between orders. Someone has to cover the cost of their Director of Trash Cans Acquisitions and his staff.
