In short, we found that the image had many signs of being generated by artificial intelligence (AI). For instance, the girl's hand seemed to be deformed as well as the sleeve of Trump's jacket.

Give me a break. This is now your definition of the deep state? On some deep corner of the internet someone posted an obviously doctored picture? AI and the Wild West attitude of social media have allowed these stupid things to proliferate like bad weeds on both sides of the aisle. It would take me thirty seconds to find some egregious fake on the other side of the aisle.

In any case, I have no doubt that both sides use photoshopped images to further their agenda, and this is probably the case here. However, these images would die a quick death of irrelevance, unless they are amplified by the typical hyperpartisans in social media, who are only too eager to reinforce their beliefs, no matter whether the evidence is photoshopped or not.

 

It looks like the left has become so emboldened that not only are they making AI fakes of Trump (because they can't get any real dirt on him), but they didn't even bother to edit the picture after to make it look more real. It think that is even more annoying to me than their evil intentions.

 

The deep state encompasses law enforcement all over the country going after Trump, Democrats all over the country going after Trump, the MSM media going after Trump, and things like this going after Trump. If Trump had done this to Biden you would be all over it wanting more indictments but since it was done against Trump, zero, zip, nodda.

With the advent of deepfake technology, I expect to see this become standard for partisans on both sides. It's going to create a world where nothing can be trusted. There's no stopping it now.

The irony is, AIs are creating these deepfake images and eventually we'll need AI to tell us whether they are real or not.
