FBI Whistleblower Testimony Exposes ‘Federal Involvement’ in Jan 6

    May 18, 2023

Explosive testimonies from FBI whistleblowers before congressional lawmakers have exposed the staggering extent that the federal agency has been weaponized against the American people.

Several whistleblowers have testified before congressional hearings regarding corruption at the highest levels of law enforcement.

According to the whistleblowers’ testimony, the events that occurred at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, were instigated by “potential federal involvement.”

Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) held a press conference Thursday to confirm that the government was running several assets in the crowds during the Jan. 6 protests in Washington D.C.

During Gaetz’s House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government press conference today, the congressman showed videos from multiple depositions.

The depositions were conducted over the past few months with FBI whistleblowers.

The whistleblowers testified that the agency is targeting and retaliating against those who speak up.

In the whistleblowers’ depositions, there emerged a disturbing picture of “federal involvement” in the events of Jan. 6.

The testimonies raise critical questions about the Biden administration’s transparency over the incident.

Gaetz revealed the stunning testimony from three FBI whistleblowers in the Thursday morning press conference.

“The FBI has been victimized by political capture, and that politicization has manifested in the targeting of Americans who never deserve to have this government weaponized against them,” Gaetz said.

“Whistleblowers saw those bad acts, they stepped forward, and they were retaliated against and crushed as a consequence.

“And our work today will build on the work of special counsel Durham, who said recently that at the FBI, there is confirmation bias and over-willingness to rely on information from individuals connected to political opponents and action without appropriate objectivity.

“One of the whistleblowers we’ll hear from today served in the United States Marine Corps, served as a local cop, Garrett O’Boyle.

“And this is his testimony regarding that political capture.”

Are these the same “whistleblowers who have been disciplined by the FBI and had security clearances revoked?

Let me see, 40,000 hours divided by 24 hours a day = 1,666.66 days, divided by 7 days a week = 238.1 weeks, divided by 54 weeks per year = 4.4 years.

That's a lot of viewing time without sleep.

To date, the Committee and Select Subcommittee have received whistleblower testimony from several current and former FBI employees who chose to risk their careers to expose abuses and misconduct in the FBI. Some of these employees—Special Agents Garret O’Boyle and Stephen Friend, Supervisory Intelligence Analyst George Hill, and Staff Operations Specialist Marcus Allen—have chosen to speak on the record about their experiences.1 The disclosures from these FBI employees highlight egregious abuse, misallocation of law-enforcement resources, and misconduct with the leadership ranks of the FBI...

These FBI employees have come forward to blow the whistle at great personal and professional risk. Each of these whistleblowers described retaliatory conduct that they have faced after making protected disclosures about what they believed in good faith to be wrong conduct. A recurring theme is that the FBI has violated federal whistleblower protection laws and abused its security clearance review process to hamstring the brave agents who exercise their right to make protected disclosures to Congress or who dared to question agency leadership. For example:

    • Special Agent O’Boyle made protected disclosures to his Supervisory Special Agent about potentially illegal activity, and the FBI transferred him to a new unit that required him to move his family across-country. When O’Boyle arrived for his first day, the FBI placed him on unpaid, indefinite suspension, effectively rendering his “family homeless” and leaving them without any personal effects—including his young children’s clothing—because these items were in FBI storage.

    • Likewise, in Special Agent Friend’s case, the FBI suspended his security clearance after making protected disclosures. This suspension rendered Friend unable to fulfill his duties as a special agent—thus, the FBI suspended him indefinitely. While on suspension, the FBI refused to allow Friend to obtain outside employment, leaving his family without income.

    • In Staff Operations Specialist Allen’s case, the FBI suspended his security clearance for simply performing duties of his job—conducting case-related research using open-source news articles and videos and sending his search results to his task force colleagues.

The FBI leadership’s trend toward political partisanship in recent years has disturbed the ranks of front-line FBI agents like O’Boyle, Friend, and Hill. In the words of one whistleblower, the current state of the FBI is “cancerous” as the Bureau has “let itself become enveloped in this politicization and weaponization.” This testimony supplements earlier disclosures from whistleblowers, highlighted in the Committee’s November 2022 report, in which whistleblowers described the FBI’s Washington leadership as “rotted at its core” and having a “systemic culture of unaccountability.”

BREAKING: McCarthy Gives J6 Footage To Three More Outlets

    Updated:May 31, 2023

House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy has given three more news outlets unfettered access to the January 6th footage. Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) celebrated this development on her Twitter account, reinforcing the commitment to transparency that many in the GOP have called for.

“I’m excited to share the good news that just as I promised the J6 tapes are being released!” Greene tweeted. She went on to name the three outlets receiving access to the footage: John Solomon Reports, Julie Kelly, and a third outlet yet to be disclosed.

This move to release more footage comes as a response to the calls for transparency and accountability surrounding the events that occurred on January 6th. Rep. Greene and McCarthy are both outspoken critics of the handling of the J6 investigation, asserting that the full story has yet to be told.

John Solomon, a journalist noted for his investigative reporting, and Julie Kelly, a respected commentator and author, have been granted access to the footage. In her tweet, Greene expressed her anticipation for the upcoming reports. “This is the transparency the American people deserve and I look forward to their reporting!” she wrote.

BREAKING: Leaked Video Shows D.C. Cops Were ‘Rioters’ And Instigators At J-6 Protest

U.S. Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-GA) has sent a letter to law enforcement agencies demanding answers on undercover police activity on January 6. The congressman cited an authenticated GoPro video that shows at least one undercover officer urging protesters to climb barriers and enter the Capitol building.

In an interview with Just The News, Loudermilk confirmed the authenticity of a GoPro video released this past March in which at least one undercover D.C. Metropolitan Police officer can be seen instigating illegal activity. “We know that it is one of their officers and at one point he is encouraging, and it appears he’s encouraging, he’s definitely helping people climb the scaffolding, and he’s telling them ‘go, go, go,’” Loudermilk told the Just the News.

“Why is an officer encouraging people to climb the scaffolding and go into the Capitol? And secondly, why did the MPD Metropolitan Police support department decide to put undercover officers in the crowd? Was there intelligence that they had that was or was not passed on to the Capitol Police and what did the Capitol police do with that evidence, if they got it?” he added.

The shocking footage shows a plainclothes MPD officer climbing construction scaffolding while encouraging other protesters to do the same. He also yelled “go, go, go” and “keep moving” as protesters stood on a ledge outside the Capitol pavilion, urging them to move forward towards the building.

The footage was obtained after January 6 defendant William Pope of Topeka, Kansas filed a motion on February 21. “While my descriptions of the undercover MPD officers are accurate, the media and the public should not have to rely on my descriptions alone,” Pope wrote.

“It is in the interests of justice that this exhibit in support of my motion be seen by all.”
