A senior marketing executive at Bud Light has taken a leave of absence, weeks after the company came under scrutiny for its partnership with a transgender influencer, Ad Age reported.

Alissa Heinerscheid, vice president of marketing for the brand, is being replaced by Budweiser global marketing VP Todd Allen, AdAge said.

The decision by the Anheuser-Busch InBev NV-owned brand comes after the company partnered with influencer Dylan Mulvaney, who has chronicled her transition into a transgender woman. In a video posted on her Instagram page April 1, Mulvaney showed off a custom Bud Light can the company made with her photo on it.

Go woke, go broke. You'd think these companies would have figured this out by now....

Sadly, YouTube and social media are banning or demonitizing any creator who spoke out about or even covered the story. We know from the Twitter files that the Biden admin was deeply into censoring anyone who didn't support their agenda and social media was their primary means of doing that. They even debated how best to hide what they were doing from the public.

We have a handful on the left here that have assured us that this was not damaging to the company..... But yet they have no explanation for this.

I guess she failed to appreciate that the target market for Budweiser is mainly angry old Faux News addicts who don't take kindly to minorities.

Well you sure seem to have it all figured out. Maybe send them your resume and tell them you have your finger on the pulse?

If what you say is true, and lets pretend it is, that just goes to even further validate how stupid a marketing decision this was. Why would you use a popular trans figure to promote to a market that isn't into it?
I mean if there was a product popular with liberals, like soy milk for example, they would be smart enough not to use TRUMP to promote it.
Anyway you want to spin this, it was a very DUMB marketing move.

It is always a failure when a company sets it ad campaign to target a very small or a nonexistent market. Or uses a controversial spokesman-person-spokesgirl -

I do not know that it’s just about the gebonees who only watch Fox Fo Fum Faux News. I will watch a little bit of Fox just about every day in order to see what the lie of the day is. Yet I like others over 50 have had it with having this trans stuff and same sex crap shaken in out faces. There is some HIV medicine that believes it is a good idea to show two males kissing and riding a bike together staring “lovely” at each other. I have accepted that there are gays but I do not need to have to be reminded several times in ads. It is as if we are being forced not only to accept that gayness exists but to champion it? This
trans stuff and gay stuff s is being pushed so much and so often that some of us who were neutral about gays or trans people are starting to resent seeing it pushed in our faces.

I don't think it's worth getting worked up about. I was never a fan of PDA in general, but I'm not going to cancel a company over it. They can show guys kissing each other and I'll just say "ick!" to myself (a natural impulse I can hardly control) and move on. I don't know if I would call showing it "championing" it since I don't look at it as a choice. I look at gays as a minority group, thus featuring them is like featuring any other minority group.

It's funny how differently we tend to react to gay men and gay women, though, isn't it? :)

Your stereotype is quite lacking. We have a large population of seasonal migrant harvesters here and when they're not drinking Modelo lots of them drink Bud light

Yes I admit it gay women just do not bring out the “ick” factor. Do not condone it but if they do not bother children it’s not worth getting upset about gay women.

That is a bigoted response. Typical Far Left response lumping all minorities together like that. I don't consider the caricature of a woman named Dylan as an actual woman. He/She does not act like any woman I have ever met. He/She acts like a clown version of a woman. He/She is a disgrace to any actual woman I have ever seen including Trans women who actually act like women.
