    The federal government makes a valid point here though. Why are the Bundys so special again, that the law doesn't apply to them? I guess I just won't pay my taxes anymore because, hey, 47% of Americans aren't paying them either. :roll:

    They will be back once the terrorists go back to work, and will likely start arresting all the terrorists who threatened federal agents. Including the freeloader Bundy. Your terrorist militias won nothing.

    He has not refused to pay, he refused to pay the feds. Its not like hes trying to get something for free. If the blm is not doing their job, why should he pay. I would love to see americans do this in mass to the federal government. What could they do, arrest us all?

    Resisting governmen intrusion is not a right or left wing ideal, its a liberty ideal. This will be hard for statists to understand, but not everyone is a fan of the federal government, or its over reaching power in to everyday life.

    He tried to pay nevada. He used to pay the feds when the feds were improving the land. This isnt about money for him, as again, he has tried to pay local government.

    I am a federalist, but this was the wrong way to stand up to the feds; by refusing to pay their bill. Dispute in court, yes. But don't just say "I don't wanna" because that crap isn't fair to the rest of the people that are paying their fair share according to the law. If you don't like the law, then change the law. Don't get all uppity just because you feel more entitled than everyone else around you. :no:

    Granted Waco was handled poorly but it needed to be done. Instead of a 51 day seige they should have just went in full force from the start. These terrorists are no different. Even as the BLM is leaving they are demanding they turn over their weapons to them?? LOL yeah fat chance of that happening. They have just ensured themselves to be arrested quietly in the middle of the night. Which also would strip them on any gun rights they have.

    I don't see government intrusion in this case. The man was using government land without paying for it. I see that Bundy is a thief. How is the government over reaching in this case?

    You don't get to pick and choose who you pay the fees too, and no he didn't pay when they were keeping up the land. He hasn't paid in 20 years when they haven't been keeping up the land for 15. He is simply a deadbeat who stopped paying his bill and had his services shut down.
