    False. Not everyone pays taxes.

Where in your theoretical contract does it say that in order to remain on US soil, one is required to pay taxes?

ture, everyone pays taxes. Unless they are completely comatose, and do not earn an income, buy anything, own any property or a vehicle.

I don't have a theoretical contract. And it says so in the law.

I enjoy fishing, and hunting. Not sure what that has to do with you forgetting we can go back and see what you posted?

You do realize that you have now said that it isn't implicit, and it doesn't require a signature. You have completely contradicted yourself.

Repeating the same falsehood over and over again, does not make it fact.

still false. Not everyone pays taxes, yet they are free to remain on US soil. Funny that, since you claim that one must pay taxes to support a 'contract' that you cannot specify where it might say that, nor what where it might say that the citizens become bound by this supposed 'contract', that is not signed, literally or implicitly.

    what law?

in no way have i contradicted myself. I have been correcting you guys on contract law for pages now. No signature is required for a contract.

which is why I don't repeat falsehoods.

everyone pays taxes, unless they don't do any of the things I listed.
other than stating where it's found, of course.

the one that says you have to pay taxes.

It's hard to know what the hell you guys are posting about some times. Lots of strawmen and completely irrelevant nonsense. Like your fishing comment.

And there you go again, adding qualifiers. Before it was only someone who was comatose, now it's anyone who doesn't do the things you listed. But if paying taxes is what causes the theoretical 'contract' to exist, then someone who does not pay taxes, is not bound by the theoretical 'contract'.

I have said the same thing over and over and over and over again. It's right there in black and white, over several pages.
everyone pays taxes, unless they do none of the things I listed. Everyone on US soil is under US jurisdiction, and subject to the laws of this land, as well as the rights and privileges that come with it. All are parties to the contract. You are a party to the contract. No matter how badly you stomp your feet and yell at the computer screen, you will still be a party to said contract.

No strawmen. And an idiom is a basic part of standard conversation for most people.

You keep referencing a 'law' that is in your theoretical 'contract' that requires the payment of taxes to satisfy the tenets of the contract. I am not acquainted with laws being part of a 'contract'. 'Contract's can be formulated to adhere to a law, but laws are not an active part of a 'contract'.

I'm well aware that you keep repeating the same thing, over and over and over again. That doesn't make it anymore true than it did the first time you said it. There is no 'Contract' in the Constitution, between Citizens and the government.

everyone pays taxes, unless they do none of the things I listed. Everyone on US soil is under US jurisdiction, and subject to the laws of this land, as well as the rights and privileges that come with it. All are parties to the contract. You are a party to the contract. No matter how badly you stomp your feet and yell at the computer screen, you will still be a party to said contract.[/QUOTE] I'm not stomping my feet and yelling at my computer screen, though that does put forth an interesting visual. Your initial statement and the statement you make now, are different, in regards to paying taxes, yet still false. Eventually, if you keep qualifying, you might actually realize the truth of the matter. And no, not everyone who is on US soil is subject to the jurisdiction or laws of this land.

You really must do some research before you keep digging in deeper.

There is a lot of language concerning this concept, numerous books about it in fact. But to try to break it down simply would be: a mutual agreement between a government and the citizenry to establish law.

In effect, an individual forgoes some individual rights for the protection of other rights.

For instance, the government may require you to pay taxes in order to create institutions to protect your private property from domestic or foreign upheaval.

An important part of this concept (especially in its time) is that for a government or authority to be considered legitimate it must be representative of the people it governs.

If you’re interested in learning more you can take the quick route of looking at wikipedia:
    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_contract

Or you can look at the works themselves, my suggestions would be “The Social Contract” by Jean-Jacques Rousseau and “Two Treatises of Government” by John Locke. Both of which are mandatory reading for political philosophy, the work of Locke particularly is the foundation of the US Constitution.

You should be able to find both online, but if you’re like me and prefer physical books, I found both of my copies for under $10. You may be able to find them cheaper if there is a good used book store in your area.

Super. Then people can not pay their taxes and nobody will hurt them in any way. Good to know.

But of course you know that the constitution was established between the states.

"The Ratification of the Conventions of nine States, shall be sufficient for the Establishment of this Constitution between the States so ratifying the Same"

So it's legitimate for some super-special individuals to ask for payment. I certainly have no such privilege. Who are these super-special people?

lots of strawman. And irrelevant nonsense isn't part of a debate.

nobody is talking about a theoretical contract. I am talking about the contract you are a party to.

everything I have said is demonstrably true. It's why you won't stop paying your taxes.

the constitution is the contract. which is between the citizens and the government.
