Pay me money, because you agreed to a contract that some people established 231 years ago. Oh, and if you don't pay me, I'll hurt you.

A straw man? So people don't have to pay taxes else they get hurt? This is what you're saying now?

Wow, so many men of straw.

There is no social contract. It's a made up thing by thugs who want to justify their abuse of their fellow man.

    Sooooooo...

... the Bill of Rights doesn't apply to you and your ilk? If you choose not to bear the responsibilities, there's no reason why we should allow you to enjoy the benefits. After all, you didn't sign that contract 231 years ago... [IMG]

I know. You should address what people actually post. Not make up an argument and attribute it to them.

    Proven false

I wasn't around 231 years ago to sign this contract. So no, it doesn't apply to me or anyone who isn't 231 years old.

So, you would have no problem with the gubmint kicking down your door, seizing all of your property, and locking you away for life without a trial?

I would not be happy with thugs who did that, nor would I recognize any right for them to do so.

Internet access isn't taxed. Besides, if I use someone else's wifi, it doesn't cost me a thing.

Paying taxes does not mean I entered a contract. It means that I am allowing someone else to see to things that I don't have time to, it means I contribute to the support of those who are less fortunate then I. I like knowing that someone will keep the roads paved, and the borders secured. But it does not mean I entered a contract.

You have not proven a thing. You have regurgitated the same words over and over again, no links, no support to your cause, and have failed in proving any part of your claim.

Is there a particular reason why you felt the need to yell? When you yell, it's not proving a point, and you have not provided anything of value to the discussion.

That perfectly describes every single post you and CD have made in this thread. Since I refuse to believe anyone without severely damaged chromosomes could be that dense, I must conclude you're both trolls.

You seem to have put a lot of thought and effort into your argument. Kudos to you.

I now see that it's totally legitimate for one person to harm another for not paying him money. Oh, wait. No. That's idiotic.

So you think that someone who keeps insisting on a point, but provides no validation, links, quotes or references, is a-okay, and those who request the validation, are in the wrong?

You know, most of us gave up the silly little name calling in second grade.

Nope. Saying you have proven something doesn't mean you have actually proven anything.

"Citizen, you tacitly agree to this boot stomping on your face forever!"

    Yes it is.
True. Whatever device you are using, you paid taxes on.

    Yes it does.

Yes, this is a contract you have entered in to.

I have proven you are a party to the social contract.
