It will be interesting to see if Cain can recover form these issues.

While I don't know for certain, nor does anyone else here, I think this just may do him in.

At this point, with two of his accusers having been named, things are not looking really great for the guy.

No, but not because of the allegations, because of his positions on important issues

I think he could have if these allegations were proven to be nothing substantial. The fact is that the names of these women came out and Cain was forced to stop doing his "this is ridiculous routine" all the time and actually had to say something. Also because he manages to screw up the PR aspect of it whenever he possibly can.

I have nothing against Cain apart from his simplistic ideas on the economy and how to fix it. He also seems to like bailouts for big banks and corporations. Not good, as far as I'm concerned.

Allegations ? Were the police involved here, or is this after the fact, he said she said scenario ?

I'd like to see him go down based on his ideas rather on scandal. We do get too distracted here, IMHO. The media have to sell their advertising ect ect...

The problem is that if he gets past his sex nonsense, you still have to realize that he knows nothing about anything needed with none of the personal qualities people look up to.

Exactly.... He has also lost support of a lot of Republican women and religious conservatives..

But the big drawback is that he in no way prepared himself to run .. I think he must have decided on a whim.

It makes no difference if Cain "pulls through" or not, he will not be the REPUBLICAN nominee for president.

I've abandoned my support for Cain because Republican women have abandoned their support for Cain and if a candidate cannot win over the women, he cannot win.

    Period.

    I'm throwing in behind Newt.

The scum tactics of the left have succeeded in making yet another quality candidate unelectable, as usual.

And, because he's as nutty as a fruit cake.

He says that God persuaded him to run for president. LOL

Nutty and he can't make his own decisions.

This is the best the Republicans can come up with? :-D

    Enjoy your second term Obama.

Hopefully not! We've already had one black "man" in the White House and he turned out to be the worst President of all time. We don't need another incompetent black "man" as our leader.

Thankfully, it looks like he'll never win the nomination anyway. Idiocracy averted, for now.

His handling of this has been absurdly pathetic. Even ignoring all the allegations, he is completely ignorant on the issues. Just look at his recent interview where he "discusses" Libya. It's laughable. The guy is a complete joke.

    You must be joking...:)
The better guy is so obvious it pains me to speak of it..
    EDWARDS is your guy.

    The women love him.
The unions support him..He is white..tall..good looking..
His hair is better than Newts.
    Forget about the past... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Edwards

On January 3, 2008, in the Iowa caucuses, the first contest of the nomination process, Edwards placed second with 29.75% of the vote to Obama (37.58%), with Clinton coming in third with 29.47% of the vote.[59]

For the Paul freaks..here ya go..

He advocated rolling back the Bush administration's tax cuts and ending mandatory minimum sentencing for non-violent offenders.[27] Edwards generally supported expanding legal immigration to the United States while working with Mexico to provide better border security and stop illegal trafficking.[27][28]

So the guy was in 3rd place ..RIGHT THERE after IOWA.
The fact that NEWT leads Romney is all about Religion..not any conservative values.

Oh please give us a break.
The silly twit has done himself in...quit blaming others.

Not only is he a womanizer...that many could forgive.
But am I the only one to realize Hermie is incapable of answering a question.
I've watched him waffle on everything he's been asked.
If given a YES or NO question...Hermie will respond with a DEFINITE MAYBE.

His goose is cooked...which is probably a good thing because...he's goosed enough women as I understand it...LOL

Even without these issues Cain has a 20% chance of winning. His ideas are too radical for Americans.

Honestly, I can't believe he ever made it as high in the polls as he did.

I think it's over for him, he just doesn't realize it yet.
