    Sorry- Harpo is my favorite.

Harpo spoke more truth than all the Birthers combined.

    And he played a mute.

It's hard to follow such abject stupidity.

Now that we have established that, every bit as deranged as their "birther" aberrance, US corporate profits at an all-time high, CEO salaries at astronomical levels, and the Dow Jones Average hitting unprecedented numbers, whilst not having nationalized a single industry, all shout "Marxist!" to the woefully askewpie dolls, let's get back to Rafe "Carnival" Cruz, and the TPs ill-fated voyage of the darned.

As assuredly as Clinton will be the Democratic nominee for 2016, Chris Christe will be the Republicans'. He's about to win re-election big time in a 'blue' state.

You may recall that, along with his successful 'individual mandate' approach to desperately-needed health insurance reform, that's what won it for Willard last time. Meanwhile, the TPs' binkie in formerly-red Virginia, their beloved 'Cooch', is about to go down big time. With a Democratic Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, and 2 Senators, the formerly-crimson Commonwealth, is being inundated by the bounding blue as inevitably as a climate change disaster in the Sechelles

(Virginia was the No. 1 recipient of federal contracts during the last fiscal year, bringing in more than $38 billion.
At least $21 billion of Virginia’s contracts were from a single agency: the Defense Department.)

    Thank you, Shut-'er-downers!

The rumour going around the Vatican magisterium is that the People's Pope is about to replace Jude as the Patron Saint of Lost Causes with Teddy the Cruiser. Whittle his gob onto the Rushmore dungheap of TP high fliers - Alan West, Sarah Palin, Todd Akin, Richard Mourdock, Herman Cain, Sharon Angle, Michele Bachmann, Christine O'Donnell, Jim DeMint, Rick Santorum, etc.

Turdblossom Rove believes a 'next-generation' Romney is the ticket. So, it's back to the future, GOP style.

    Yes!

'Carnival' Cruz is now the leading 2016 contender... for "Miss Wassila!"

It isn't easy. The personal liberty advocates are doing their damnedest to keep the State out of the wombs of Americans, and government-mandated prayers out of the schools, but the goofballs are still out there trying

Jeb Bush could be the next President. He is married to a Hispanic, and he is a capable leader. He is not my first choice, but I believe he is quite viable. To believe the country would not accept another Bush is wrong.

Jeb has always seemed to me to be the brightest and more reasonable of the Bush boys. I suspect he is far to reasonable to be nominated by the Republicans- though I think he is very electable.

I agree to an extent, but I think he would definitely run a stronger campaign than Romney did. Any Republican would be far better than any democrat.

Not to the far right- they have been advocating a burnt earth strategy- if Republicans don't pass their orthodoxy tests they seem to be glad to tear that Republican down even if it means giving up the election to a Democrat.

I think we can count on the GOP being too stupid to realize how many Republican Presidents have been elected by Democrats.

I really believe most of us "far rights"(those of us believing in a stricter interpretation of the Constitution) usually fall in line and support the Republican nominee accompanied by some common-sense democrats. Certainly there are some detractors.

I agree, but Hillary will be hard to beat. She's a woman, and would be another historic first. The lamestream media will jump all over that. Libs will vote for her regardless of the entire Benghazi scandal, among other things. The Conservative base needs to get out there and vote this time.

Geez. I hope we've learned a hard lesson on that "historic first" thing. Look where it got us recently??? Let's vote on who is most qualified and who would make the best president from among our choices. IF it happens to be a woman....so be it. But that should certainly NOT be primary. THE most qualified woman now would be Condoleeza Rice. But she's turned it down before. I think someone would have to do some pretty good talking to get her to run. But I DO believe if she ran, she'd be THE most qualified and a great representative for the country.

I agree. You and I think logically. Remember, we are dealing with LIVs. The kind that elected Obama...twice.
