A Canadian woman was the first patient in the entire world diagnosed to be suffering from “climate change” when she was admitted to the hospital for breathing problems.



And here's the real reason
“She has diabetes. She has some heart failure. … She lives in a trailer, no air conditioning,” said Kyle Merritt, an emergency room doctor in Nelson, British Columbia.



I think they are still trying to fool us

 

Its probably not an effort to fool. The reasoning is more like: The impact of climate change, is making a difference in that now she needs to either move elsewhere, or use that adaptive equipment ( the air conditioner etc), when she did not before. What he is actually saying is that her underlying conditions may have not changed in severity since she was last seen despite her increased complaints. Its the dryer, hotter average temperatures that are causing the symptoms more often with more visits than a few years ago. He's basically assessing the root of this problem (increased frequency of complaints/ and severity) and documenting what may NOT causing it - a worsening underlying medical condition.

That's my guess. Media does what media does with what he wrote, but I don't think he was part of a conspiracy to make this headline. I am not even saying he's right, but he was just kind of thinking out loud as he wrote a medical notation

edit It may even be her own expressed opinion/theory that he documented right there. Actually that is quite likely now that I think about it. It should read "Patient states..." as a preface though.

 

Bull she dies from poor heath

 

It does seem that he feels climate change is playing a role but 'diagnosis' was the media 'word', the media spin, as far as I can tell. We do not have any direct quotes from the medical chart and we don't know where he put it in the chart, or how he phrased this reference to climate in the medical record. In the quote used for this article, he does not directly use the word 'diagnosis' at all.

 

It's indisputably a deliberate, calculated lie.

 

They should build a statue to her out and replace it every day as it melts as symbolic of the climate change ravaging her

 

So buy her an AC window unit.

 

Who's 'lie' is this?

 

The lying sack of $#!+ who claimed her illness was caused by "climate change."

 

I guess now we can add diabetes and heart failure to the list of things we can solve by simply paying more carbon taxes.

 

So a woman suffering from self-inflicted poverty and poor health (both of which are easily avoided in the First World), is blaming the climate for her predicament. Is she angling for an increase in benefits? What's the purpose of this BS?

 

I believe it was her doctor who concocted the "diagnosis."
