Made the meme myself as a way of underscoring my point using the impact of visual information

The meme is dishonest and does not reflect the responses from the forum members it was meant to insult.

This is a UK story - it is about a hyper awareness in relation to LGBTQIA issues rather than an increase per se

Soooo “triggering” is an insult? Good to know given the number of times that the term “triggering the libs” has and still is being used

"They" are not trying to change the terminology for women. Click on the link in the OP. The new term is not meant for cis women.
While the proposed term is horrible and offensive, it's in no way meant to replace the original, traditional term for that which men are so fond of. It's meant only for trans people.

I'm all for calling a vagina "vagina" even if it's stuck between a trans man's legs, because biological realities do not depend on whether we like them or not. Gender identity, however, is another matter, and the trans psyche can be quite fragile, so maybe - a big frown-ridden maybe - using alternative terms can really help such people.

What is stupid and moronic is when people don’t bother to investigate if an article is actually factual or just pandering to the bigots.

The source of the information is highly questionable:

The charity in question produced a list of words with the explanation:

It generally accepted in the world of medicine that one should use words that a patient is comfortable with.

Generally acceptable in the medical world to use terms a patient is comfortable with….. lmao! That’s hilarious. So ciswoman is comfortable for real women? Must women move their name so a trans can it? Are you kidding me? You’re really going to defend this? Are you a transgender? That’s a serious question cause I don’t see the logic in defending men taking women’s names and making women use different ones.

Not meant for women…. Cis women is a made up term to call real women so Trannys can take the original name term women. Why must real women be called cis women, or birthing women? Are you kidding me? Here is another example people

    All terms are made up.

Here's a real, manly man. Knows best what's good for us little helpless women. Right?

Why do you think you have the right to tell people what they are and what they can or can't be?

You don’t seem to be able to comprehend relatively simple concepts. As a medical professional, I know most women refer to themselves as a woman, not as a cis-woman. I would use the term that a patient prefers and is comfortable with. If a woman asks me to call her cis-gender, I would from then on in do so. If you listen to patients, you will hear their preferred terms. If a patient comes in and complains that their ‘back passage’ is itchy, I would use ‘back passage’ over ‘rectum because that is their comfortable term. That’s all I am saying. The list provided by the charity is a list of words that some patients may be more comfortable with.

What does following mean ‘Must women move their name so a trans can it?’ I have no idea what you are alluding to, my point was that in the medical world, medical staff generally use the words patients are comfortable with. I didn’t defend men taking women’s names and making women use different ones. Are you so far down the hole of transphobia and bigotry that somebody defending something ‘trans’ must mean that person is trans.

No, it is a weak insult attempt. It appears you admire those on the right and wish to emulate them.

The downside of that is when a patient tells you they have suffered from “Hairy Syphilis” of the arm and the meant “Erysipelas”
