The Boston Herald reported that in the late 1990s Harvard Law School had touted Elizabeth Warren as being a Native American faculty member.

In the Pow Wow Chow cookbook were recipes allegedly authored by Warren, as reported by Daily Mail:

The allegedly Cherokee recipes included Cold Omelets with Crab Meat, Crab with Tomato Mayonnaise Dressing, Herbed Tomatoes, and Mexican Oatmeal Soup:



Boston Radio host Howie Carr discovered that three of Warren’s recipes appeared to be plagiarized:

The two recipes, “Cold Omelets with Crab Meat” and “Crab with Tomato Mayonnaise Dressing,” appear in an article titled “Cold Omelets with Crab Meat,” written by Pierre Franey of the New York Times News Service that was published in the August 22, 1979 edition of the Virgin Islands Daily News, a copy of which can be seen here.

Ms. Warren’s 1984 recipe for Crab with Tomato Mayonnaise Dressing is a word-for-word copy of Mr. Franey’s 1979 recipe.

Mrs. Warren’s 1984 recipe for Cold Omelets with Crab Meat contains all four of the ingredients listed in Mr. Franey’s 1979 recipe in the exact same portion but lists five additional ingredients. More significantly, her instructions are virtually a word for word copy of Mr. Franey’s instructions from this 1979 article. Both instructions specify the use of a “seven inch Teflon pan.” …

Ms. Warren’s instructions are word-for-word copies of Mr. Franey’s 1979 instructions for this recipe, with one exception. Ms. Warren says, “Let cook until firm and lightly brown…” and Mr. Franey says “Let cook until firm and lightly browned…”

The third potentially plagiarized recipe, “Herbed Tomatoes,” appears to be copied from this 1959 recipe from Better Homes and Garden.

I'm a bit puzzled by this one.
There are plenty of ordinary people on the Left, I'm sure, who actually believe this innocent lad was just murdered in cold blood by the racist policeman.
They had a strong emotional investment in this tale being true, so when the Obama Justice Department, no doubt with some reluctance, refused to confirm
it ... they just pushed the report down the memory hole.

In fact, the chair-entity of the Missouri Green Party casually referred to this incident as if it were just an accepted fact in some online forum I followed...
I emailed him and said there was another side, he replied, and I spelt out the findings -- very civilly.

I think St Thomas Aquinas invented the concept of "Invincible Ignorance", to explain why savages and infants would not go to Hell, having never had a chance to reject salvation. That may explain our Green friend, and many others.

But this is a smart woman. This incident was famous -- the images of the burning city -- an excellent argument for very strict gun control by the way -- were on peoples' televisions night after night ... she MUST know the truth.

Now when people lie, they usually have a reason, except for a certain kind of psychopath. (Liberals, yes, I KNOW what you're going to say! So is he infectious? ... shouldn't you go high when he goes low? Isn't Warren just giving substance to the concept of "fake news"?)

in South Carolina who tried to snatch the policeman's taser, failed, ran off and got shot in the back... I think the policeman is serving 20
years for that one. So why not him?
