I very much enjoyed this....... One near death experience in six involves a meeting with a previously deceased cat or dog or horse or other pet..... according to Dr. Ken Ring who did some amazing research on near death experience accounts. @DennisTate Cats protect their loved humans from spirits as well as physical threats; as spirits or alive
My cat ate my Koi Carp. My dog would just bark at them. A scary guy came into my garage when I was working. The cat hid. The dog told him in a growling voice, "One more step and I will rip your arm off and eat it first!" (Or toe, depending on the breed... )
Ruth declawed when we became partnered at the animal shelter She was small and maybe some Abyssinian in nature She liked people and especially a thigh to hang each forelimb across while her chest pressed warmly especially women wearing denim. After Ruth died twice some female guest startled "I feel like Ruth just jumped . ". . That condo address seemed to attract spirits or . . . etc. etc. Ruth was a special cat
Cats are the only creatures I know of besides humans that kill and routinely torture other animals merely for amusement. Many very well-fed housecats love to stalk, capture, torture, and kill other creatures -- for no reason other than they're seemingly so bored. Consequently, I have never liked cats very much....
I didn't "upload" anything. The thread topic is "Cats and the Stigma", and, by juxtaposition (and concomitant elaboration) I explained why I ain't a 'cat person'. If there's a "stigma" placed on anyone for being fond of cats, it may be related to others wondering why anyone would like an animal that callously tortures and murders other animals for no reason at all.... What's being "troll" about an observation like that...? Or, in 'plain Texas talk' -- cat hungry and needs food? Fine! Go kill some food and eat it. But, cat gets fed regularly by owner and wants for nothing in life -- but tortures and kills for the hell of it? Bad cat!
A cat only does what his species does. Not all cats get fed by their owners, some get dropped off or thrown out because the owner didn't want them. That behavior is worse than a cat's behavior. I have taken in dogs and cats that were abandoned. I often wanted the person who threw them out to come back and see what a beautiful animal it turned out to be. Bad cat is usually caused by a bad owner.
I will certainly agree that anyone who deliberately abuses or mistreats (or malnourishes) any animal that is in his or her care is a despicable human being who ought to be put in a cage with a couple of angry, hungry lions!
Ugh. My Griff is gone and my cats are readjusting. I have a visualization now of them rubbing their paws together with glee, although they seemingly missed Wicket for a good month. So much more work was required to care for Wicket than for Chance or Milu, just the grooming of his coat around his eyes and his nails had been sufficient to prove this assertion imo. Then of course there is the whole matter of the walk and the poo applicable to dogs and most certainly not to cats. Another observation, for me of course, and just my opinion, but cat zoomies do not even begin to approach the joy of dog zoomies. Worst of all though is that I find myself growing resentful of Chance and Milu. I reckon I've gained a bit of empathy for Denethor preferring Boromir over Faramir - meh, ugh.... *** Coming up on two months now and Chance has gained at least a pound, possibly pushing two. A bit of depression since the loss of Wicket pervades our house. I could have missed the pain, but I'd have had to miss the Dance....
Speaking of felines anyone notice lots of new bobcat videos on YouTube.. Wild yet behaving domesticated
From : Maby Gonzalez " Some people say it's just a cat. But to me, it's home, comfort, and unconditional love in a fur coat."
My first thought was do felines perceive our glow and other living things when alive We Emit a Visible Light That Vanishes When We Die, Says Surprising New Study. https://www.yahoo.com/news/emit-visible-light-vanishes-die-042234630.html Researchers from the University of Calgary and the National Research Council of Canada have discovered physical evidence of a 'biophoton' phenomenon ceasing on death, suggesting all living things could glow with health until they die. . . .
Interesting. We do produce heat - IR, so it’s not surprising that it could go further up the spectrum. And, some claim to see auras.
~ Unfortunately, this is likely not true for our career politicians. The "light" they emit lives on in the death and destruction done by them during life.
From above, We Emit a Visible Light That Vanishes When We Die, Says Surprising New Study !) Play dead as you like but, the cat knows 2) Nursing Homes sometimes report a house cat that adopts a room of a dying person. One story was of a cat the staff tried to direct to where they felt the occupant would soon expire, but the cat chose another room where the occupant did, expire. 3) Cats don't seem to wish to spend time with a deceased loved one. 4) Cats split off from the mammal tree earliest. They have unique smell organs above the palette. They also have unique eye anatomy, different from all other mammals. That is why I wonder if cats can see or otherwise perceive biophotonic happenings.
My son said something unusual to me when he was four years old: "Dad... you're a tiger..... God laughed at the devils and the ghosts!" I have to admit that I am working on take a Big Cat Idea out of the proverbial bag...... and lots of Neo-Malthusians want that BigCat idea drowned!!!!! http://www.politicalforum.com/index...e-of-twenty-billion-dollars-per-month.618227/ That happened back in 1999....
