The CDC represents a new generation of medicine that America developed. It's abilities are astonishing, if you're old enough to remember how it was 50 years ago. The CDC was also the gold standard at what it does. Now Trump uses it as a political football and American confidence in the CDC is dropping faster than a jumper off the Golden Gate bridge. Even worse, the idiotic nonsense the Right say about the CDC, and other medical issues, lacks relevance, an understanding of medical issues, and, there is no other word for it, sanity. We've gone over 200K dead, and we will see 300K or even 400K, and most of them didn't have to die. We may have more people dying from this than WW2, when all is said and done. That is also insane.
