So you dont have anything to say, nothing to add, not even a rebuttal of any kind?

You could have just said Im right, and left it at that.

As you can see, BVWC makes stuff up and asserts it as fact. When challenged, she'll either shout it louder or attempt a deflection.

Backing up a claim is something you shouldn't count on. She gets all her "news" from trash blogs that pander to her prejudices.

So all the news organizations, websites, politicians, and Iraqi citizens I worked with, who say different are lying?

All of those protests occurred weeks after the video had been on the internet except Cairo. But given 48 hours of Obama and Clinton constantly talking about this video (which Romney btw knew instinctively was a mistake), the rest of the protests occurred. Not within 48 hours of the vid being posted. But within 48 hours of Obama and Clinton opening their mouths about it.

He radar locked our aircraft that were authorized by the UN to patrol the Northern and Southern No Fly Zones. I witnessed this myself at least a couple of times when I heard the pilot in my ear report it. Although I couldn't see their instruments myself, I believe them more than I believe you.

She was referring to the motives of the attackers. She said "What difference does it make?" Imagine if one of your family was murdered, and when referring to the motives of the attacker, the investigator said, "What difference does it make!?" Uh, that would tell you right there, no interest whatsoever in detaining the murderer.

Well for one, you can believe it based on the UN resolutions he broke many times. Like in 1994, 3 years after we removed him from Kuwait, he once again had massed his troops on the Kuwaiti border. Oil for food program corrupted. Weapons inspectors repeatedly denied. He was a mass murderer. He repeatedly radar locked our aircraft authorized to patrol the no fly zones. He was our enemy.

Now what you got is a politically motivated tarnishing of our country's war with Iraq. Why? Because they all voted for it. So now, 10 years later, after the war effort has been sabotaged by politicians, Hollywood, the MSM, and academia, they need to distance themselves from those votes. How? Just blame it all on Bush fooling them into thinking Saddam had WMD's. No that wasn't the only reason we invaded; I was there and participated on 2 different tours. The soldiers did their jobs to win. It was you folks back home who failed. You allowed propaganda to erode your will, and you didn't really support us!

    Link?

    ...

    - - - Updated - - -

All of those protests occurred before that attack in Benghazi.

    - - - Updated - - -

The pilots at Incirlik Air Base in Türkiye told me that they were never at risk, since the Iraqis couldn't reach them flying so high.

I'll believe them before anyone else.

    - - - Updated - - -

Then you tell me - what difference does the motive make to the fact that they are dead?

    Motive is irrelevant.

No crime in that. He could move troops anywhere within his country that he wished.

Monetary theft is no reason to go to war. And after the Bushies lost $9 billion in CASH in Iraq, they should (*)(*)(*)(*) about money shenanigans.

Uh-huh. Do we allow weapons inspectors from hostile countries in to inspect our systems? Of course, we make the international rules for everyone else, but don't want that burden placed on us.

And? How many U.S. allies over the years have also been mass murderers?

    Never a threat.

False. Enough of them voted for it. Which is irrelevant, anyway. Bush and his regime continually claimed that he didn't need any Congressional approval, and that he would invade regardless.

Googling Saddam's atrocities will give you a few million results.

What protests? Cairo occurred before Benghazi, not "all of those". Do a google search custom date range from Sep 10, 2012 to Sep 11, 2012 and you will be hard pressed to find another protest going on outside Cairo.

Determining possible motives of killers is a common and useful tactic to solve murders...

Really? Even with a unanimous UN resolution telling him he couldn't?

Perhaps not. But cherry picking and discussing each reason individually, as the left has done for over a decade now, won't give one perspective on the total balance for the case for war.

Again, do we have a unanimous UN resolution demanding we have inspections like Saddam did?

And how many leaders throughout the entire history of mankind have been mass murderers? Yeah, welcome to the real world, there are a lot of irrational, brutal, and perhaps even evil people that are leading billions of other people. Yah kinda have to have dealings with them to be able to operate in the world.

Easy for you to say at your keyboard. But I'd go all in on a wager that you would feel differently in the pilot seat.

Global Citizen is obviously ignoring the posts directly preceding this last one, since he keeps asking questions that have already been answered.

Since when are Right-Wingers such backers of the United Nations?

Israel has been ignoring UN resolutions for decades - when do we invade?

I jumped in here because you said that "all" of those protests on that map that was posted occurred before Benghazi. And that doesn't seem true when you Google the dates Sep 10, 2012 to Sep 11, 2012. No one was talking about any of those other places. Only Cairo and Benghazi. That indicates that "all" of those protests occurred after Benghazi.

It appears Romney was right to interject on that night, because they shouldn't have been apologizing for some video. It appears that it contributed to the wave of protests after Benghazi and Cairo.

It's always best to go to the original reporting:

    https://webcache.googleusercontent....in-egypt-and-libya/+&cd=7&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us

And Mitt was totally wrong to try to politicize an event while it is going on, and while Americans are at risk.

And what does your link show me? It doesn't mention anywhere besides Cairo and Benghazi. Like I said, do the search, and it's clear no one is talking about anti-American protests except these two places. Which clearly indicates Cairo, Benghazi, then all the rest of the protests were the chronological order. And it means all these little inserts I see in threads here, and even in the Congressional reports of "We have to remember that they were trying to make decisions during all these other protests" or "there was confusion as to whether Benghazi was a protest in relation to all the other protests going on" are clearly efforts to obfuscate the truth of what happened on that night.

Then how can you insist that the youtube video had nothing to do with Benghazi? [IMG]

Because the Cairo protest against the vid had been planned. It wasn't spontaneous. I'm not saying those Cairo clerics didn't have a right to protest the video, as they did. But I still think that angle needs investigated. Were those original protest planners connected in any way with Benghazi? We don't know because we have a govt that doesn't investigate because it doesn't give a crap about anything but covering political peoples's asses. And most importantly, the ambassador went to bed around 9pm...I doubt he would have if there were protests outside his door.
