Charlottesville remains on edge ahead of 'Unite the Right' rally

If they, the Democrats, wanna protest despite knowing who could show up, fine. Let's not act like anything good was ever gonna come from this particular white supremacy-based rally. It was a shitstorm waiting to happen from the start.

 

Same said for anything BLM or when Antifa is involved.

It wasn't a white supremacy based rally, it was a rally to protest the removal of statues. Some from the groups of KKK or self proclaimed neo nazi shows up and the left ran with that since.

I'm for banning anti-American terrorists. If the White Nationalists agreed with even a tiny portion of what the Constitution says then they should have refused to march with Nazis and Klansmen from the beginning. That they were there at all says all I need to know about them.

I don't understand this entire post but the last para most of all. Are you saying that Nazis/Klansmen display very little of what I find unconscionable and that other groups I approve of do, or what?

 

Did you know that each one of those ovens could burn 1,000 corpses at a time? They only look like one body ovens but they are really, really huge. You can get a fully grown blue whale through those doors.

 

Generally, we do hope like hell they'll stay home, and, yes, I've seen protests where everybody heard they were coming and didn't show up themselves.

The Alt.rights KNEW Nazis and Klansmen were coming, it was part of news reports the day before. They came anyway. That may indeed be their legal right but to me it makes them Nazis too

Right, they set up a rally with authority permission with the intention of killing someone. That's a bit far out even for you.

This was a peaceful rally which got unnecessarily riled up when the leftist fascists turned up, something that's corroborated by witness statements. Then some hothead took a trip in a car.

 

A "protest" by definition has an opposing side, or it's not a protest. The fact that you know your protest will attract left wing fascist opponents doesn't mean you don't protest.

 

Some feel the same way about liberalism, in fact it has had a far greater negative impact on the U.S. then these small fringe groups! Bottom line on protest like these BOTH sides were combative, but the lions share of fault goes to the group showing up to disrupt the other, do you actually think the statue protesters were there to fight amongst themselves

 

No, but you acknowledge any and all possible parties who could show up.

 

If they showed up to fight amongst themselves then that's pretty stupid. But then that's probably them suggesting maybe they don't want white supremacists around, which I don't fault them for.

 

Exactly If the statue protesters had been left to do their thing there is a good chance it would have been a peaceful event, but unfortunately the anti was the catalyst needed to fuel anarchy.

 

Indeed, which probably explains the car killing. I don't think the average person there who opposed a controversial statue's removal were behind the wheel. There was a wide range of attendees, ranging from normal proud white men to the more fringe attendees who'd have been behind the actual crime.

 

I would say your post was a total failure and dis-proofed by the reality!
