Chicago father accused of killing his 9 year old daughter

The trial is underway of a Chicago man of killing his 9 year daughter. Apparently no reason is found by the police why this killing took place.
Domestic violence and homicides are on the rise in last couple of reasons. We have to work out what is the reason which is making people to take such a violent steps. Is there any role of drugs, unemployment or any other social factor. We really need to address this issue at its core.

The death of a child is always tragic. The death of a child at the hands of a parent is monstrous.

 

The capacity for human evil unfortunately ceases to surprise.

 

Question is how to address these issues. These sort of issues are not the hallmark of a civilized society. There must be something wrong somewhere in our civic society, which we have to fix it. Like our founding fathers did for us and now we have to follow their footsteps. So that next coming generation could feel proud of us.

 

Its the father's fault, not society. He is the cause of the childs death. Some people are simply sociopaths, others are mentally imbalanced, others are perverse.

There are all kinds of correlations between poverty and crime. unemployment and crime. drugs and crime. love and crime. hate and crime. Which one is to blame for this tragedy?

 

I don't think, society is not at the fault. These sort of activities arises from certain social conditions. Question is why we see these sort of crimes in one country but not in other countries. Reason is, those conditions are not in those countries. So we can very easily say the presence of certain factors in one society leads to certain sort of crimes in that society.

 

He only killed one kid.

Since I am a devout person, maybe one way of stopping the violence would be by getting rid of all the occult and Satanism on the internet...or at least making people aware of the dangers involved when they link on to them. If the mass school killings all go back to that, wouldn't it affect other killings as well?

 

Ivan, do you know when the American troops entered Iraq, they found the warehouses packed with foods and medicine. Why did Saddam keep these things in the warehouses and not give them out to his people...that is the question.

 

Is that really true or was it just more of Bush Administration's BS propaganda to justify the war. ?

"mother shoots dead her two teenage children and herself in foreclosed home amid bitter divorce with luxury realtor husband


Jennifer Berman, 48, killed her son Alexander, 16, and 15-year-old daughter Jacqueline at their foreclosed West Palm Beach property in Florida after sending an email to her ex saying she was going to 'do harm' to herself and others.


The children's father and Mrs Berman's ex-husband Richard Berman, 51, found the bodies when he drove to the home immediately after receiving the email.


Mr Berman, a prominent realtor in luxury homes, and his wife divorced in December. Mrs Berman claimed in court documents that she was struggling financially, taking 12-hour overnight shifts as a nurse to make ends meet.


The mother and her two children were due to move out of their home in the exclusive, historically-protected El Cid neighborhood next month.

I completely agree with you , on the name of freedom of speech and other freedoms..... now anyone can do anything, i think there must be some strict laws on the internet, video games and media. Certain things must be stopped on these places

 

Stress is a cause of these acts.
Look at nature. Infanticide is common when there are stressful situations.
Humans are animals and most crime is based on our animal instincts.
With most animals the reasons are pretty straight forward; humans have an added insanity factor.

 

I agree with you, stress is the biggest factor in all these crimes. Modern lifestyle is adding more and more stress to our lives. Maintaining basic lifestyle is sometimes very difficult. People are just spending just half of their salaries to pay rents. Skyrocketing rents are called free market. Free market sometimes become free crime. Jobs are going offshore, again it is free market, but they are selling their product here. Companies don't like to manufacture their product here, they don't want to hire employees here, but when it comes to selling, they want to sell their products here. Isn't amazing.

 

I wish there really was a hell for people like him, but unfortunately the idea seems too good to be true.
