    Pretty much sums up this conversation.

    Anyways, to the question. No. The Church hierarchy and the teachings of Jesus are two completely different things. They have very little in common. One justifies invasion and crusades, and the torture of people for their beliefs, etc, and the other says love your enemy, and that the kingdom of heaven is within you, no priesthood required. They couldn't be more different in their message.

    I reckon there's no shortage of govt agents/assets running churches and cults today, but I dont see how Jesus could have been one of them. But hey, maybe Rome false flagged the crucifixion and ressurection 2000 yrs ago. Its possible I guess...
