The Bible wasn't intended to be a factually accurate book in terms of history or science, it's a book of metaphor which sets an example for a moral life.
The verse refers to killing your own children. How is it different when they are born and how is it worse if they are unborn?
So death and destruction is not an evil? Not an ill? How do you justify otherwise good people dieing in those events?
Which is something that it fails to do. Granted there are some excellent morals and ethics to be found, but at the same time there are things that no sane person would practice.
It is not the same thing. Killing the unborn because it benefits a person or the killers just feel good about killing it---is murder. Execution for wrongs done---is execution. Two totally different subjects deserving of two totally different threads.
But that IS why God did it. What wrongs did the infants and fetuses committ? Holy crap dude - its you lifers that keeping going on about how "innocent" they are! Total nonsense. It just shows your total bias. God could rape someone (he has ordered that also) and you'd just say "oh he was just spreading his love" Completely morally bankrupt.
So WHY ARE YOU OPPOSED TO ABORTION THEN!?? You are a complete (*)(*)(*)(*)ing hypocrite. You religious lifers are a walking talking joke.
Because it kills innocent people - and is created/sourced from God. So it isnt nature that is evil - it is God.
Those are frightening passages that call to kill people and for awful things to happen to people. Scary!
