Assuming he's telling the truth, the fat man has taken himself completely out of contention, and the intense vacuum has completely sucked the wind out of the already shakled campaign. The media is in mourning, and cons nationwide are shellshocked, completely at a loss for direction now that they know the myopic field of faltering freaks they've already rejected are all they have to choose from as they gear up for the battle of their lives.
At the same time that we're watching the last, final, and best, shot cons had at retaking power fizzle in Christie, we see the people's revolution blooming like crazy at the feet of Gall Street and in a year it will be an interesting war conducted at the polls for the furture of America. cons cannot possibly be looking at anything right now except the barrel of a lib shotgun.

He lacked the experience and the organization. I never took him seriously as a viable candidate.

But like you evidently suggest, if I read you correctly, Obama still appears to be the man that most people feel more comfortable with, given the current crop of candidates.

I hope he wins and I hope that Republicans and Democrats can get together to tackle serious problems.

    Hope, hope hope....

If a Republican is able to convince me that he can do a better job here, let's hear his or her plan and then, we can confirm or revise opinions.

You realized Christie was greatly despised by the far right crowd, right? They're pretty happy to see him out of the picture, which means he might just be good for America in 2016.

No one is going to take you seriously so long as you post this kind of ultra-partisan rant. Even your screen name makes you an object of scorn.

Your side doesn't like the message, and the messenger welcomes the scorne.

How can my rant be partisan, when I'm not partisan? I hold no love for the Dems, and the OP was fair and balanced, just delivered with vitriol.

cons were all in on Christie with their mantra of ANYBODY BUT OBAMA. They'd vote for anybody to get him out, except for Ron Paul, or Willard Romney, or Bachmann, or the newest flavor, or any of the committed NO crowd now vying. You've all painted yourselves so far into the extremist corner that you now have nowhere else to run. :sun:

You should have said 2020. After all, a Republican will win in 2012 and serve 8 years.:)

Anyone who voted for Obama and criticizes Christie as inexperience and unprepared is mentally ill.

LOL My thoughts about Cain as well.

"He's to inexperienced, never held office."

Well IMO that's one of those attractive features.

Perry and Romney both have pissed me off, not with what the press says, but in their debates. They both reek of establishment so bad they are interchangeable place holder candidates with Obama almost. America doesn't need a place holder.

To me, I'm taking the TRUE underdog in this race and unless some radical scandal or miracle happens.. I'm going to support Cain. He's not establishment, has enough bona fides that count, and he's not a libertarian appeasement candidate.

It's interesting to note you don't give Republicans longer than 8 years.

Ya know, conBgone, when you copy and paste posts from other sites, you really should clean up the formatting by putting a return between paragraphs. That way, it wouldn't be so obvious you don't write most of the crap you post.

What message? All I saw was you insulting somebodies weight.

From what Obama has shown and done in the last few years, I will still vote for anybody but Obama.

Neither far right or hate Christie but another white male Governor is not needed in this race.

    Oh lordy...
OK, you've fallen off the stool and out the door with this one.
Please, show me anything in the world that can support your ludicrus claim.
As tho a person can't merely express factual opinion without a mob of sillies pouncing?
Address the issue, woman, instead of posting your roiling pout steam.

Think he could do a sobriety walk?

Of course you did. That's all you wanted to see.

Why would you admit that in public?

    Prove me wrong.

Don't forget tp back up your claims from the top, please, I can't wait!

Why is this such a surprise? He's been saying he's not running for months.

Over and over and over again.

And yet he was on the verge of accepting the coronation, right up to the hour long coup de grace yesterday. He had the family on board finally, and was ready to jump into the fire, but at the last second decided not to become the biggest liar in history.
The surprise might be the mourning silence his crushing decision is having on the GOP, here and nationwaide, they are SO BUMMED!

Cain has experience. Obama had never had a real job and most of his "experience" was concealed by the media.

Actually we're not. You are no one to speak on behalf of conservatives.

Your entire OP is trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill. Christie was not the best conservative chance for regaining the WH.

Gall St? Oh you mean the protestors on Wall St. (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)ing about not making enough and spouting communist BS. Those stupid freaks won't start a revolution. They are on the side of big government, not the People. They may say they are there for the "working man" or whatever the unionist thugs chant, but in reality they are anti-capitalist and against economic freedom.

He should have said 2077. Next year an ostrich will be elected to our highest office, at which point he will abolish term limits and serve for sixty-four consecutive years, until his life is cut tragically short by global nuclear war. In the radioactive aftermath a "functioning" democracy will be established, and that's when Christie will win.

I'm just pulling your leg. The Libertarians will be victorious by a landslide next year, winning by over 90% of the vote.

Christie spoke to the issues with more clarity than any of the other Republican candidates.. In that regard he raised the bar, IMO.

Isn't it funny how every month there is a new savior for the Republicons? First it was Palin, then it was Pawlenty, then it was Trump, then it was Bachmann, then it was Perry, then it was Cain, then it was Christie. They can't stick with any of these clowns. They are looking for a winner but there just isn't any.
