So I work in retail as some of you may know and we get our Christmas Day off from work. However I have heard lately that some retail stores will still be open on Chrstimas Day, some fast food places too like Starbucks. Isn't that just sad? You'd hope that almost everyone would get the day off. Although I have to hand it to the paramedics, doctors, firefighters and policemen who continue to work on this lovely Christmas season to protect and help us all. Have any of you heard of any other places that will still be open Christmas Day?
I worked a few Christmases- when I worked in manufacturing. And I was on call a few times and had to go out and work getting people heat. I had two calls yesterday. When I worked in manufacturing we got triple time. Double and holiday pay. Some people like to work during the holidays.
the local police dept is open-i have a friend working today...so far everyone has wished him a quiet day at work.
