Not making it up but rather interpreting it based on their lack of knowledge of ancient Greek demi-gods then influenced by a media that does not feel the need to fact check before pushing a story.

Almost every conservative had these types of images on their social media pages. Hypocrisy.

You're right, it wasn't your question, because your questions are nearly always in absolutes. A tactic used by those that are otherwise incapable of logically defending their perspectives.

I don't think it really matters what their excuse was.

LGBTQ+ represents less than 10% of the total adult population across 30 countries, yet they seem to inject themselves into 98% of everything.

They are queens alright. Drama queens and attention whores.

Starting an insurrection over false accusations is as ugly as it gets. Maybe if conservatives actually accepted the truth it wouldn't have happened at all.

A question is not an absolute, it’s a chance to refute one. One nobody had the balls to do.

Just look at the knots you are tying yourself into to justify your confected outrage. Now you have decided that the person responsible for the scene deliberately put a Greek god into it to throw everyone off the scent so he could attack Christianity. How laughably absurd, especially when compared to truth - it was supposed to depict a bachannal involving Greek gods.

It looks like this one: The one with the French name - Le Festin des Dieux; The one with Dionysus (Bacchus) in it; The one with Apollo in the middle with something that looks like a halo; The one that is owned by the French state and hangs in a museum in France. THAT one.

    https://www.theguardian.com/sport/a...r-scene-based-painting-greek-gods-art-experts

The explanation that best fits the facts here is the truth - it was a representation of Greek gods referencing a painting with a French name, owned by the French state.

Like I said, there is NO way you will ever admit you were wrong, no matter how convoluted & bizarre a theory you need to produce.

The fact that the organizer and director of this disgusting spectacle stated about his show

"“I’ll be fired if I tell you anything,” Jolly says with a cheeky laugh. “All I can tell you is that it will be very meaningful for the artists that will perform.”

Now why would he be fired for telling people about a recreation of Dionysus and the feast of the gods?

He could be fired for describing the last supper where he put a bunch of homos in drag in tho.

"I'm going to do a recreation of a painting of a Greek god and celebration with men dressed in drag"
Sounds stupid but not fireable when the French Olympic committee knew they were hiring a massively flamboyant homosexual for the director, right?

"I'm going to do a recreation of the last supper with guys dressed in drag."

Sounds absolutely fireable. Even if you hired a flamboyant homo whom you KNEW was probably going to do some gay ****, that would be over the line.

To me, that's fine. Where the J6 protesters got into trouble was assaulting capitol police officers, charging the building, disrupting the duties of Congress, etc. That is where all of the J6 protesters got into trouble, not because of what they said prior to that.

Need to seperate the wheat from the chaff in your argument Flyboy.

No, it is called hypocrisy, which was the point I was making. Those very same Christians who got an ad up on every light rail on the DART system complained when the Atheists did the same thing they did. Eventually, it got so bad that DART decided not to put ANY religious advertisements on their light rails. That's where the problem lies and somehow that flew over you in your response. Predictable and tragic at the same time.

    How do you define "devoted?"

If a Muslim follows the five pillars of Islam, is the Muslim Devoted? Yes or no?

Do the five pillars of Islam directly go to the Muslim Fundamentalists' point of view? yes or no?

    It's called the Internet.

It is the same thing with every topic from school librarians to forcing the Bible into schools and making it mandatory to teach, to all those false claims about the election started by conspiracy theorists, and so forth. Even the MAGA crowd is a minority within the party, but they sure do make the loudest noises don't they?

They didn't. They said it wasn't the last supper. There's a difference.
