Undue Suffering: Circumcision for Non-Medical Reasons Is Wrong A Commentary By Dr. Maximilian Stehr Infant circumcision is wrong and should be banned. Only young males from +18 y.o. should be able to undergo the procedure for non-medical reasons. And even that is stretching it -- we don't allow +18 y.o. females to undergo circumcision either. Should we ban it for males -18.y.o. or should we ban it all together?
I think our pre-occupation with cutting off each other's dicks is rather a sign of what today's aggressively matriarchal society is doing to our egos. If someone did that to me I would run away. Look at the bright side: does that qualify you for political asylium and a work permit? HAHAHAHAHA
I completely agree. Unfortunately the barbaric practice is deeply ingrained in not only the muslim countries but in the United States also. I know of a swedish family that gave birth to a boy in the United States. The father could not be there for the birth so the woman was left all alone in the care of the American doctors. They made her sign stacks of paperwork immediately after she had just given birth. What she did not see apparently was a circumcision consent form tucked into all the paperwork. Apparently the nurse mentioned that they were going to take the baby out for a circumcision and the baby would be right back, but the mother did not fully understand. At no point was the mother actually asked if she wanted her baby to become circumcised. So now this swedish family has a circumcised baby. The father was very unhappy about it. Around half of the male babies in the USA are circumcised. Several cities have tried to ban circumcision without the consent of the child, but none of them have been sucessful. The jewish lobby is too strong.
Whats funny is why American males are circumcised so often.... It has little to do with health. Never let a doctor tell you that a circumcised dick is good for maintaining health or protection from STDs or whatever other bull(*)(*)(*)(*) they claim. It's about some weird cereal manufacturer's obsession with masturbation, and ways to discourage it in youth. This idiocy needs to stop. Nature gave males a foreskin, it serves a purpose.
A Swiss hospital announced Friday that it has lifted a moratorium on religiously-motivated circumcisions imposed in July in the wake of a court ruling in neighbouring Germany. From now on Zurich Children's Hospital said it will act on a case-by-case basis taking into account the "wellbeing of the child", Swiss news agency ATS reported. Parents' written consent is also required by the hospital which consulted widely on the ethics of the practice before coming to its decision, the agency added. The hospital's initial ban followed a ruling in June by a court in Cologne, Germany, which said that circumcision was tantamount to grievous bodily harm. Germany Chancellor Angela Merkel reportedly said the verdict risked making Germany a "laughing stock", but the judgment made waves in Switzerland, where some hospitals reconsidered their position on the procedure. The development is unlikely to have much effect on the practice in Switzerland, where it can be carried out in any hospital for a fee. http://medicalxpress.com/news/2012-08-zurich-children-hospital-circumcision.html
Circumcision of the male penis is the equivalent of cutting out the female labia minora. The difference is that there are more sensitive nerve receptors in the foreskin than there are in the clitoris (most sensitive part of the female) and labia minora combined. And unlike in the female, the male foreskin also serves a "gliding" sexual function. Do the parents really have a right to decide whether to irreversibly remove a pleasure-feeling part of their child's sexual organ? What about the rights of the child? What if the child grows up and wishes he had not been circumcised?
Well. here's the deal dudes. YOu don't get to make the decision. Yo Mama get to make it. The. end. no penis intended.
point, as in the OP already stated that the parents get to make the decision. You're a day late and a dollar short.

I have a toddler grandson whose circumcision was done by an anti-semitic, anti-religion, anti-circumcision obstetrician. yes. The obstetrician performs the dirty deed. Oh, she did it. She just did a sorry job of it. And it had to be done later on again. And i suspect as he gets older it will have to be done YET again. His little thing gets irritated very often, moreso than the circumcisions done on my sons when they were infants. It is difficult to clean, he perceives it as painful. It MUST be kept clean. I am VERY aggravated at medicals that behave like this imposing their passive aggressive surgical techniques to suit their own views on the matter.
So why did you do it to them. There zero evidence that it is beneficial in any way. Surely a mother and grandmother would research the facts of a medical procedure they were putting children into?
You can do whatever you want to your penis. Hell, you can even chop the whole thing off if you want to. But you do NOT have the right to irreversibly cut off a part of your non-consenting defenseless baby's genitals. What if your baby grows up and decides he wants his foreskin? If you made the decission for him, he will have no say for the rest of their adult lives, since the foreskin does not regrow.
