What a creative SPIN! MSNBCNN couldn't have done better, oh wait, this may not be PO and nothing but implanted talking points handed down from the DNC Overlords ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The assertion was that Carter got the Federal Government involved in education (he did) and ruined the system yet how many administrations came after and did nothing about this so-callled travesty. Why do Dems get the sole blame and how is that SPINNING anything.

If you were honestly curious (not that you actually care about the facts) you could easily answer your first questions with a brief search on something link Indeed or LinkedIn. Lots of people are hiring. You would know that if facts mattered to you. They don't matter to you. You only care about memes. Facts do not enter your radar, as you've already proven.

So all the people being laid off by big tech don’t need to worry, is that what you’re saying? Companies who are cutting people are not hiring people for generic jobs. There may be a few jobs available , but not enough for the tens of thousands of people who lost their jobs and will probably have to relocate if they find one.

You talk as if everything you say is a fact and everyone else is wrong. Thousands of jobs were lost during the liberal lock downs when businesses closed their doors, thousands of jobs were killed in the energy industry thanks to Biden, and now this.

I've worked in big tech for several years. There are tons of Product Marketing Management, Product Management, Engineering, Development, UX, Project Management, and Program Management jobs out there. I, like most people in the industry, have recruiters contacting me all of the time. Again, spend a couple of minutes on LinkedIn or Indeed and you'll see the same, even in this comparatively notorious slow time of the year for openings. And most of those who were laid off by big tech got ~3 months severance. More than enough to carry into January when hiring picks up again. None of them who have any kind of network have anything to worry about. Just out of curiosity, I jumped on LinkedIn and searched for purely remote project manager positions within my network (~300 connections, which is pretty modest on LinkedIn) paying over 100k. There were ~1,000 openings just within those parameters, and I see dozens of similar new openings every single day just in my city. And, again, this is all during a slow time of year. I've actively helped friends find new positions, either due to layoffs or due to a career change. The support network is enormous, especially now.

And yet here you are either unwilling or unable to explain anything. Simple questions answered with cryptic nonsense.
    So, again.......what agenda?

You're omitting the people who are not only previously laid off, but the people who were already looking for jobs and then the people who will want jobs when they get out of school. Companies are laying off people by the thousands, a relative few is probably not encouraging to the ones who were recently laid off, especially if they have to move across the country to get them.

As for LinkedIn, I signed up years ago and never looked at it. I continue to get all the emails about people who searched for me but I never log into the site.

You brought up the big tech folks, so I addressed them. Meanwhile, everything I said also stands for other jobs. The openings are out there. ****, dude, I've literally helped multiple RECENTLY RELEASED CONVICTS set up their new careers. There's no excuse for this victim mentality. The job market, like all things in economics, is not a zero sum game. What is "not encouraging" is the victim mentality that you are promoting. That doesn't help anyone in their job search. Why have righties turned into the worst impression of far lefties over the past few years? As for LinkedIn, good for you. It's useful for people searching for a job. I'm glad you have no need to do so, but it doesn't change the fact that it is useful for those who are.
