The reason the SCOUTS is ranked the way it is, is because of Democrats. When they used the nuclear option (for the first time in history) to sit Obama federal judges with 51 votes because nobody would vote for them. They were told this will come back to bite them in the ass. But they wouldn't listen.
Then 3 conservative judges are are appointed in one administration with just 51 votes.

Then it was, Democrats were going to appoint 6 more justices, but that bit the dust up front.

Now its bribing Justices to leave the SCOTUS?

If it were a serious offer, it would probably not be legal, but the justice department would properly conclude it is a joke, so no action would be taken. If on the other hand this were a rightist such as the My Pillow guy, the FBI would be doing a middle-of-the-night raid on his house for trying to bribe a Supreme Court justice.

Sadly, there is more truth than fiction in the above statement.

 

The reason that Supreme Court has a conservative majority is because all of them were appointed by Republcian Presidents.

That has nothing to do with any nuclear option.

No, the nuclear option was relevant because it meant that Republicans could pass through more conservative justices than they would have if they had needed Democrat votes for approval.

 

Republicans took it to the next level using nuke options on Supreme Court Justices. The Democratic party never used nuke option for Supremes.
