We should end nepotism. No one's parents should be able to get their kids an advantage over anyone else, in any situation. Dad's friends at the bank shouldn't be able to hire little Johnny when he gets out of college either.

I'm to the left of AOC, and I don't think anything we've seen implicates Joe in anything, but let's not pretend any of the people Hunter was doing "business" with cared about anything but his last name.

These guys saw Hunter as an investment. It doesn't mean it ever paid off for them.

 

Oh, I'm sure they were partnering with him mostly to get some cred from his name, but there's nothing illegal about that and the claims that he had no qualifications are complete nonsense.

 

There wasn't anything illegal about that part. If I had to bet, i would bet on Hunter Biden being involved in some illegal business dealings though. I would place the same bet on the three oldest Trump children.

He did have some qualifications for sure, but his qualifications did not matter to the people he was doing business with. The people who are saying he didn't have qualifications, are really trying to make that point, and we should concede that point, because it is correct in spirit, even if they aren't really making the best argument for it.

If the Hunter Biden situation can lead to a larger discussion about nepotism, especially regarding in politics, then i think it could end up being a good thing.

We may not be able to address localized nepotism today, but if we can get some type of law limiting nepotism with regards to the children of politicians, then we can start attaching shame to it, and maybe phase at least some of it out at the level of regular people.

Show proof of your conjecture. There are pictures of him snorting coke, smoking something, and the DNA test said the strippers kid is his. And we know he got tossed out of the military for drug use. All that is factual. I've never seen anything about degrees advanced or other wise.
