It has been found that heat and some liquids will kill the Covid-19 Virus. President Trump said at yesterdays press conference that the doctors should look at that to see if that would be a way to combat the virus. Today in CNN's major headline twisted the President's words and implied something totally different. This is what the President refers to as fake news.
The idiots who get their news from CNN are either not too bright or brainwashed with no help in site. CNN's ratings have fallen drastically and this is an example why.

Even with a video quote, CNN selectively edits or omits qualifying statements, then tells you that what you think you heard actually meant something else. They have refined this to a art, and very skilled at it. AKA- propaganda. Years ago, I watch CNN and considered them a reasonable news source, same with a few others who have become total prostitutes for the left.
Now- doing so is like watching the three stooges invent some cockeyed interpretation about the light in the frig.

Here is the transcript of what President Trump said:
"So, supposing we hit the body with a tremendous - whether it's ultraviolet or just very powerful light," the president said, turning to Dr Deborah Birx, the White House coronavirus response co-ordinator, "and I think you said that hasn't been checked but you're going to test it.
"And then I said, supposing you brought the light inside of the body, which you can do either through the skin or in some other way. And I think you said you're going to test that too. Sounds interesting," the president continued.
"And then I see the disinfectant where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning?
"So it'd be interesting to check that."
Pointing to his head, Mr Trump went on: "I'm not a doctor. But I'm, like, a person that has a good you-know-what."
He turned again to Dr Birx and asked if she had ever heard of using "the heat and the light" to treat coronavirus.
"Not as a treatment," Dr Birx said. "I mean, certainly, fever is a good thing. When you have a fever, it helps your body respond. But I've not seen heat or light."
"I think it's a great thing to look at," Mr Trump said.

    Here is CNN's headline:
Trump, ever the salesman, is peddling dangerous cures for coronavirus

I am sure most people here are smart enough to make up their own minds

FTR, I am not a CNN watcher. I am, however, disgusted by the name calling and disrespect Trump shows them on a daily basis from his bully pulpit. He says he has to do it because, otherwise, he would look weak. Sadly, he never learned the lesson that kindness shows greater strength in a person.

But I'm curious about your thoughts on anonymous sources that are prevalent in most broadcasts and articles. Trump has been outspoken about demanding names be used if the fake news wants credibility. Yet, daily, we hear Trump tell us about lots of countries who call him and tell him what a great job he's doing. "Other countries", "Many people" - comments like these are common from his mouth. Yet, he calls CNN and others 'fake news' for not including names.

This past weekend, Donald Trump apparently saw some media coverage that cited "officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity." The president didn't care for it, turning to Twitter to declare that any report featuring unnamed sources should be rejected. Such reporting, he said, "allows Fake News to make up a phony quote from a person who doesn't even exist. The American people should demand NAMES!"

This has become a childrens quarrel because that is the rule set the MSM has set. The fact is that the slander, accusations and trash-hanging started before Trump was elected, so I do hold the left media responsible for the situation, and they don't deserve to be respected because they refuse to respect any who they disagree with. Sad, but true.

The comments about approvals are hardly something needed to be documented, that is not exactly some kind of data claim that affects the operation of government.
Imagine that you are the bus driver with a load of passengers, and a portion of them behave, while another portion do everything they can to make the job impossible.
Personally, I'd stop the bus and leave the trouble makers on the side of the road- but Trump can't do that. He is dealing with a situation of deteriorating character in both politicians and media, that no president has ever had to do before- but I expect all will have to in the future. Much of our society has lost character and self respect, and is tolerating things that mature, responsible people should never tolerate.
Unlike a grade school, we can't apply a discipline to these adult children, and they refuse to discipline themselves. It's like they think they can improve their position force the president to give them what they want by stepping up the abuse.

We have a sign in our shop that says "The beatings will continue until moral improves". That is of course, there for amusement. But it seems to be the philosophy of the MSM. That is the limit of their capacity to see beyond their own hatred. Trump hasn't done that to them- they have done it to themselves, deciding the world must adjust to their demands, and must punish someone if they don't get their way. Kind of like the 3 year old kid in a tantrum on the floor, punishing mommy for saying no.

Trump has a history of lying and cheating that goes way back before he ran for election. The MSM didn't build the distrust
of Trump - Trump did that all on his own. For decades.

It's human nature to claim that winners cheated- and especially so with the poor losers who are unwilling to hold themselves accountable for their own misdeeds.
Trump isn't a soft-touch, he's always been a hard-ball player. Got news for you- no other kind survives in big business, because the competition would eat them alive. The difference between what you see as a nice guy and a shark has to do a lot more with how they maintain their image than who they really are. A man I highly respect for his talent, his skill and his character is Warren Buffet. Seen him many time at the shareholder convention, listened to him for hours. I also know that if you cross the guy, he is not only capable of being ruthless, you can bet on it. He does not however show that side of his capacity normally. When he takes someone down, it will be discreetly- but they will be gone, all the same. And it's doing what he has to do to keep his companies on track, which is why people invest with him. Trump is open about it, less diplomatic and takes on the slander and slacker people up front and openly. I approve- this is a public forum, not a private business, and most of them deserve public exposure- to be called out for what they are doing.

I've heard it all. I've also known a fair number of entrepreneurs through my career, men who built very successful national and international businesses; names everyone knows. None of them are all "nice guy". Some are diplomatic up front- some are outright demanding and make no excuses for it. It's true that some are real bastards, and most of those still know how to do it legally. But everyone of them knows how to be tough, how to compete, and will take advantage of those who don't know how to play the game. It's like the slang saying- if you can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch. Those who try and can't cut it invariably whine because the other guy must have cheated. Trumps a guy you don't want to compete against- but you would certainly want to have on your team. All depends on how you think, whether you are a person who always thinks "what's in it for me", or one who sees it as what's best for our country.

A hard ball player with six bankruptcies under his belt and countless people that did work for him and sold him equipment getting ten cents on the dollar for the goods and services they provided the scum bag.

Dude - I've seen what he does to subcontractors, and you certainly DO NOT want him on your team unless you enjoy being screwed in the ass.

And Buffett might be tough, but he hasn't made his career by lying to the press and subs like Trump has. Trump's been the butt
of jokes for decades because the guy is sleazy. He cheats on his wives. He has zero honor.

And Trump's South Florida partners are under investigation for money laundering.
Trump was forced to refund the money students had paid his "university".
Trump was forced to give money back to his charity ( and the NY DA still has subpoenas waiting for him the day he leaves office).
Trump paid of porn stars for sex while his wife nursed their new-born son.
Trump cheated on his first wife and was such a dick that had his mistress publicly tell his wife of the affair.

And that's just the short list.

    And of course you do?

Or is it just different when the people you might call crooks are on your side?
You damn right it is. The Dems and left right now are little more than organized crime playing politics, and that doesn't seem to bother you at all.
    Hadn't even noticed, had you?

To the left, the only good guys are the ones who think like they do- and that is pretty sick. No wonder they lost and continue to lose.

One has to remember that the dem congress has and plans to continue investigating everything Trump related. Doesn't matter what, just call for an investigation, so we can continue the slander. Haven't won yet. That's been going on for four years now- and they haven't learned a damn thing,; can't come up with a better tactic or a candidate that that isn't a walking idiot. That is pitiful. Used to be some respectable people over there, but today the intelligence they use is exemplified by people liked AOC and the squad, and represents a gross embarrassment to the nation.

Are you really angry- or just jealous?

Since I don't belong to the Democrat Party, why would want me to be their keeper? There are reasons I don't belong to either party - they are basically the Hatfields and the McCoys. So pretending that Trump is forgiven for being a sleazy character just because there are equally sleazy Democrats, doesn't wash for me and certainly is just an example of your lowered moral expectations of Trump.

I've noticed we've gotten away from CNN...
For a hard ball player the President and his supporters sure whine a lot about how they are mistreated. When one chooses to play a game based on putting down others one should expect the same in return. When one chooses to be dishonest one should not expect honesty in return. When one's strategy is based on division one should not expect to be embraced by everyone.

Get used to it. Hell, the Republicans investigated Benghazi for four years ... and that was an event that cost four lives and had zero economic impact. You honestly think Congress will not investigate Trump's response to Covid?

Pretending that those who dwell on Trump hate have any kind of character doesn't wash either. Nobody's perfect, not you, not me, not Trump- but Trumps is still vastly better than other options we had in my opinion, and that continues to be true. When Jesus rises again and demonstrates total perfection, it will be time for change.

Now Trump can't hold office for more that another term. But when he's gone, do you really think that there is any chance in hell that these obsessed haters are going to turn into rational, moral people?
You know damn good and well they won't. They will just pick another target to blame, and keep on ranting. Because Trump didn't make them what they are at all- they are going to be crybabies all their lives.

Do you think that the people who irrationally hated Obama are suddenly going to like the Democrats when another Democrat President is elected? Truly, the Hatfields and McCoys. Because Obama didn't make them the way they are - they're going
to be crybabies all their lives.

I'm conservative, but I voted for Obama- because I vote for the man, not the party. I made a big mistake, he was a fraud. What he was, he is responsible for. My vote- I'm responsible for. Didn't happen a second time.
Trump may be the plumber with the crack showing and the stinky cigar- but he's the man who can get the job done and will call it like he sees it. Obama- was blowing smoke up our skirts and being fundamentally dishonest from day one. I'll take the rough guy that gets results over the slick talker any time.
