Actually, it is astounding how effectively and smoothly a large group (50 people) with consensus as its goal can accomplish a number of agenda items and issues in a meeting using the kinds of techniques the OWS members were demonstrating. I have done a number of group meetings, neighborhood associations, business and even meetings with difficult tasks to accomplish, and the new techniques like this just make the old style agenda meetings look very slow and stodgy. and many MORE people at the meeting feel heard and and find themselves in support with the final results, even if they don't entirely agree. And, cmon! Ketchup is WAY cool!
