How funny is that?! Here's an ESPN commentator ripping him to shreds over it.

I'd love to know how many of the rioters voted. That would be very interesting.

The problem is they're not being taught how to truly affect change in America. They're not learning basic civics. Their "no justice, no peace" terror threat is their only recourse, because they're so damn ignorant.

It's time to start teaching civics again. The three branches of government, checks and balances, separation of powers, elections...

Well, in my experience in HS(some 6 years ago), I aced Civics class and unfortunately there were only a few people in it. And of those few I think I was the only one who paid attention. So it's not that we're not teaching civics, but that the ignorant people among us couldn't pay attention to anything of substantial importance.

That's priceless. What a piece of work Cap is. I think the guy is transitioning to Islam. And here a CAIR leader, who has visited the WH, calls for violent revolution in America, in protest of the election of Trump
    ~
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) successfully presents itself to the media as a benign civil rights organization, comparable to the NAACP or the ADL, a description that conservatives ineffectively rail against. In this light, perhaps a tweet sent out just after midnight EST on Nov. 9 by Hussam Ayloush, long-time head of CAIR's Los Angeles office, will help awaken the press to CAIR's true Islamist identity. Ayloush wrote:

    Ok, repeat after me:
    Al-Shaab yureed isqat al-nizaam.
    (Arab Spring chant)

That second line is Arabic ("الشعب يريد إسقاط النظام‎‎") for "The people wants to bring down the regime."

In other words, Ayloush unambiguously and directly called for the overthrow of the U.S. government.

Ayloush also likes the term "Zionazi", as do many anti-Semitic Leftists.

Ayloush is not a marginal figure but someone with access to the heights of American power, including the White House. According to an Investigative Project on Terrorism analysis in 2012, he

was a delegate to the 2012 Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C. [and] ... attended at least two White House meetings. The logs show Ayloush met with Paul Monteiro, associate director of the White House Office of Public Engagement on July 8, 2011 and Amanda Brown, assistant to the White House director of political affairs Patrick Gaspard, on June 6, 2009. According to reliable sources, Monteiro was White House liaison for secret contacts with CAIR, especially with Ayloush.

Further, "IPT has learned that the White House logs curiously have omitted Ayloush's three meetings with two other senior White House officials."

    (3) The dawning of Donald Trump's victory was apparently a trying moment for Ayloush, so he let loose with an emotion he'd normally have kept under wraps. In other words, he offered a rare, candid insight into the mind of one CAIR apparatchik.

    (4) According to 18 U.S. Code ยง 2385, "Advocating overthrow of Government":

Whoever knowingly or willfully advocates, abets, advises, or teaches the duty, necessity, desirability, or propriety of overthrowing or destroying the government of the United States ... Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both.

Oddly the MSM will not pick this up, but apparently follow George Zimmerman around and record and publish his every fart.

OUTRAGEOUS Colin Kaepernick Praises Cuban Dictator Fidel Castro

Embattled San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick praised Cuban dictator Fidel Castro during a contentious press conference this week.

During a conference call in advance of Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins, Kaepernick was confronted by a member of the South Florida media for wearing a T-shirt that contained an image of Fidel Castro earlier this year.

When asked about the shirt, Kaepernick first pointed out that the shirt also pictured Malcolm X.

“I’m not talking about Fidel Castro and his oppression,” Kaepernick said during Wednesday’s press call, the Palm Beach Post reported. “I’m talking about Malcolm X and what he’s done for people.”

When further pressed about the shirt, Kaepernick praised Castro's commitment to education and criminal justice reform.

“One thing that Fidel Castro did do is they have the highest literacy rate because they invest more in their education system than they do in their prison system, which we do not do here, even though we’re fully capable of doing that,” Kaepernick said.

"We do break up families here. That’s what mass incarceration is. That was the foundation of slavery. So our country has been based on that as well as the genocide of Native Americans."

Kaepernick has emerged as one of the most outspoken athletes in sports after he decided to take a knee during the national anthem before NFL games to raise awareness of racial injustice in America.

Colin Kaepernick addresses 'false narrative' on Fidel Castro comments after Miami boos
Sporting News 22 hours ago Comments Sign in to like Reblog on Tumblr Share Tweet Email

Colin Kaepernick said comments he made about Fidel Castro, perceived as support for the controversial late Cuban president, were taken "completely out of context" in the lead-up to Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins.

Boos rained down on the San Francisco 49ers quarterback during pre-game introductions at Hard Rock Stadium, a common occurrence at road games in the aftermath of season-long national anthem protests. Afterward, Kaepernick was asked to clear the air about a tense exchange with a reporter Wednesday in which he spoke favorably of some Cuban policies under Castro's communist regime.

"What I said was I agree with the investment into education," he told reporters after a 31-24 loss to the Dolphins. "I also agree with the investment in free universal healthcare, as well as his involvement in helping to end apartheid in South Africa. I would hope that everybody agrees those things are good things.

"Trying to push the false narrative that I was a supporter of the oppressive things that he did is just not true."

The reporter, Miami Herald columnist Armando Salguero, challenged Kaepernick on a T-shirt he wore in August, depicting Malcolm X's 1960 meeting with Castro in Harlem and the words "Like Minds Think Alike." Kaepernick said he intended for the shirt to show his support Malcolm X's willingness to be "open-minded," not Castro.

Salguero, a Cuban exile under Castro, later penned a column explaining the hardships his family faced trying to leave the country for a better life, calling Kaepernick an "unrepentant hypocrite."

Castro, 90, died on Friday, an occasion celebrated by many Cuban families, some in South Florida, whose plight was similar to the Salgueros.

Kaepernick, this time wearing a shirt displaying only Malcolm X, said the timing of his comments in relation to Castro's death were "very unique circumstances." He added that he empathizes for those oppressed under Castro's regime, "but for me, what I said was, that was a historic moment for Malcolm."

"I've worn many Malcolm X shirts," he said. "He was a great man, and he lived the life that he talked about. He was someone that truly walked the walk. He was a great leader for the African community, and someone that I admire. ... What I said was, that was a historic moment for Malcolm. I'm not gonna cut out pieces of Malcolm's life. You know, in 1960 when they met in Harlem, that was a historic moment and that was something that I will always be true to what Malcolm was, what he represented."

Asked to assess whether he feels his original cause has become diluted in the national conversation, Kaepernick added: "I don't worry about people losing track of what the message is, because I've been true to the message. I'm against systematic oppression, and voting is a part of that system. I've talked at length about why I believe that."
