Colin doesn't let being Gay interfere with his game.....

He is co-captain, and center fielder. His 204 hits have helped him generate a .284 career batting average in 206 games.

In 2013: Named to the America East All-Academic Team.

Just goes to show- in America today- being Gay doesn't mean a player will not be accepted and perform on the field.

You do know Gay is his last name not his orientation? Right?

Satire doesn't play well over the interwebs...

Then he doesn't need any special rights or protections now does he?

No. Just equal. Since that is what this is about your comment is moot.

No, he should get four strikes instead of 3 because his last name is gay.

I am sorry, I just don't see it that way smevins being gay doesn't make people any different.

Yet you think gays should be treated differently, and possibly also a baseball player that just has the last name "Gay" since there is nothing else gay about the article in the OP.

Nope differently. Gays are already equal--you just want them to have special protections which indicates that you think they are unequal. Preference revelation plays itself out in funny ways......

LOL....of course....just struck my funny bone- and thought we needed something humorous for Friday.

Happy weekend everyone- and I hope you all have a gay time this weekend.

Why because i haven't hit on you or because I do not need the democrats to deliver unto me the equality I already possess under the guise I am a second class citizen? Never mind answering, I don't really care what homophobes think--I am a big boy.

The only difference between telling someone they can't be gay because they think differently than your sterotype and calling them a (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) is that the moderators will let you get away with one BTW.

Because no gay person in their right mind would say they are treated as full equals under the law as it stands today. A person posing as a gay person who is highly homophobic would say such a thing however. There is no way to prove it either way.

I've also been on this forum a while, and I remember this old post of yours which I dug up (a bit less than a year ago):

What kind of gay person would call other gay people "you gay people"? That right there implies you do not identify as such.
